  1. Double Sided Window Clings

Honestly, did you read the original post or the search result you posted? He's not wanting to buy 2-sided cling... He is wanting to produce it (and so am I). This is a forum for solving how to create what others produce not buying it from a middleman, especially when the question was seeking...
  2. The future of wraps?!?!

That is a cool concept video. I laughed when he pulled out a handheld device with a Pantone Menu. :)
  3. Ouch!!!!!!

I could've done without this imagery for the start to my day.
  4. Unrolling backing from laminator

I put an empty core on the take-up roller and tape the leading edge of the laminate to it. I actually leave the core on the roller forever. After each lam job, I unravel the backing, bunch it up, and trash it. When I'm using the Seal machine for mounting only, I remove the entire roll...
  5. Roland Sp 540v question Please Help!!!

Am I the only one who noticed that his nozzle test print was filthy?! You have empty spots in your test print, which means you need to do a Powerful Clean. I would also recommend restarting the printer if you have not done so. One time, our Roland kept missing spots in the test print no...
  6. Taping Vinyl Rolls Not In-Use (and other media)

Epic solutions, guys! That would seem to be too easy, ha; but it's not. If I used something like rubber bands, it would make it very tedious every time I loaded a roll onto the printer. I would have to balance the roll (those matte banner rolls have to be 50 to 75 lbs) on the loading caps...
  7. Taping Vinyl Rolls Not In-Use (and other media)

Our current system is to tape (masking tape) rolls of vinyl while not in-use so they don't unravel. We store our vinyl vertical, as our boss doesn't want to buy or build a rack to hang them horizontally. I realize that if we DID store them horizontally, gravity would keep the leading edge down...
  8. squeegee?

We have taped the applicable Velcro to the tips of a few of our squeegees. This was meant to use on sensitive prints that we didn't want to scratch. And as a result, it is pretty much impossible to wear it down. Didn't mean to have that effect. EDIT: The soft Velcro ;)
  9. New website...

    wordpress I smell wordpress. :thumb:
  10. Ink some how drain in waste bottle daily?!!

Maybe just remove your ink cartridges at night until you resolve this? But I don't know if that would cause head dry-up, so don't do that unless you know it won't... Just an idea on from a financial standpoint...
  11. removing adhesive from plastic

Does regular rubbing alcohol not work for this?
  12. vinyl problem help??

You need to use transfer tape. You can't just use some other craft tape lying around. The adhesive is unique in that it's stronger than that on the vinyl backing but not when it's applied to the final surface. It has the proper amount of pull to get it off the backing like you are trying to...
  13. Bus wrap problems...

How about you offer to repaint the rough spots and charge them for it. :) Just an idea...
  14. Lucky Day

I wonder if the $50k would've helped the previous owners avoid losing their stuff...
  15. Advice

Do you have that cleaning solution that came with the printer? That stuff eats the paint and varnish off metal in seconds. I really can't see how that wouldn't help you if you used it.
