We just had a customer order some prints for their vans (rockers, logos, and a hood), then a few days after pickup they call and ask how to install it...and how much water should they use. Should have realized something was up when they didn't know the difference between a bitmap or vector logo.

Just don't get pulled over with that much cash in many states in the US. All the cop has to say is that they thought it was going to be used to buy drugs and they can take it.

I've used Avery, 3M, KPMF, Oracal, Vvivid, and probably a couple others. I think Avery is the easiest to work with, 3M is a close second.

Anybody tried this yet? I'd love it to be glossier, but I haven't had enough people complain about regular 2080 not being glossy enough to justify a 45% increase.

Is it 2080 with the new protective layer that's meant to be peeled off after install?

I would have removed the mirrors, pre-masked the flat areas (doors, hood, fenders), but would have cut the stripe and pinstripes for the corner piece separate. Apply the stripe to the rest of the vehicle, lay down the main stripe on the corner piece, cut some spacing stipes the size of the gap...

I could definitely see the temperature difference causing this. The higher temp allowed the laminator to stretch it as it was applied, after installation it wanted to shrink back to what it was and peeled the edges up.

For a two week job I'd use the cheapest stuff you can find, so 3621 is perfect. I've used dozens of rolls for temporary sale signage, parade logos on vehicles, temporary "Now Hiring" on top of wraps. Holds well and easy to remove. I wouldn't laminate for that short amount of time, just tell...
