  1. Customer wet applied wrap material

We just had a customer order some prints for their vans (rockers, logos, and a hood), then a few days after pickup they call and ask how to install it...and how much water should they use. Should have realized something was up when they didn't know the difference between a bitmap or vector logo.
  2. Your Physical Health

Just don't get pulled over with that much cash in many states in the US. All the cop has to say is that they thought it was going to be used to buy drugs and they can take it.
  3. Wrap material suggestion for color change

I've used Avery, 3M, KPMF, Oracal, Vvivid, and probably a couple others. I think Avery is the easiest to work with, 3M is a close second.
  4. New 3M high gloss 2080 vinyls

Anybody tried this yet? I'd love it to be glossier, but I haven't had enough people complain about regular 2080 not being glossy enough to justify a 45% increase.
  5. Not sure what is causing this.................................................................. ??

Is it 2080 with the new protective layer that's meant to be peeled off after install?
  6. Wrap motorcycle tank

I say leave the fuel in.
  7. Banner tape

Orafol Orabond 1397PP is really good stuff. Fellers carries it, but they charge literally double what my local supplier does.
  8. Customer wanting to use trademarked logo on their signage

We are actually part of a large automotive group (and directly under a GMC dealership) so I've had many years experience with this. The dealership should have access to gmassetcentral.com which will have current logos, stock photos of cars, marketing materials, etc. There's probably also a...
  9. Premasked striping woes

I would have removed the mirrors, pre-masked the flat areas (doors, hood, fenders), but would have cut the stripe and pinstripes for the corner piece separate. Apply the stripe to the rest of the vehicle, lay down the main stripe on the corner piece, cut some spacing stipes the size of the gap...
  10. Window Perf Rolling Itself Off

I could definitely see the temperature difference causing this. The higher temp allowed the laminator to stretch it as it was applied, after installation it wanted to shrink back to what it was and peeled the edges up.
  11. What am I worth?

    Gross? Net?
  12. Vinyl for temporary vehicle decals

For a two week job I'd use the cheapest stuff you can find, so 3621 is perfect. I've used dozens of rolls for temporary sale signage, parade logos on vehicles, temporary "Now Hiring" on top of wraps. Holds well and easy to remove. I wouldn't laminate for that short amount of time, just tell...
  13. Does graphic card matter?

This is absolutely not true. An i9 12900K with Intel UHD Graphics 770 (a $600, less than 1 year old processor) has much lower benchmark scores than an nVidia GTX 1050, a low-end 6 year old dedicated card. If Intel's CPUs with integrated GPUs are faster than most mid range GPUs then why did...
  14. What should I learn from this?

Despite all the missteps everyone else has listed, by far your most egregious is the lack of an Oxford Comma.
  15. No Snowflakes or Bleedinghearts need to post

Is that Boudica or her boss?
