I am working on converting a roland fj 50 and fj 40. I'm getting the parts to convert them to run solvent inks. just got them on new year's. i like these particular models. they may not be the fastest but they are inexpensive to maintain compared to their modern counterparts. dx-2 heads are way cheaper than say dx4 or 5 heads. hope this helps. feel free to ask any questions. -Bob

Can you tell me what kind of printers you are messing around with and what kind of results you are getting? I am thinking about buying some printers but not sure which ones to go with... some nice ones out there for $3-400 seems like but don't know if inkjets are worth messing with.
