Tex would have done thrown 4 tapcons in it, ran some romex through the wall, wire taped it together and collected the check. Sheesh Gino

  11. They're takin our JOBs!

  12. Not sure if this is the correct category.................................................................................

It's equally the customer's fault if not more. Everyone knows that codes are different everywhere. I could order a metal building from Illinois for a whole lot less than one down in Florida and they will ship it to me no questions asked. It's on me to make sure what I am buying will fly...
  13. Print/cut combo

We started with a print/cut machine and still use it to cut sometimes. It's nice to have it as a backup to our plotter too. I like the Mimaki CJV150 for print/cut. It's basic, easy to learn and easy to repair yourself. The cut accuracy is good. I don't know about their new models of printers...

  16. Question Which material would be best for a work trailer set of decals?

Well, if that's what they want then that's what they get. You are eager and will figure this stuff out quickly, don't overthink the material, everyone covered the options pretty well so pick the one you feel is best and give it a go. Worst case is you have to peel it off and go with plan B. I...
  17. What kind of Material is used on Interior Train warning signs etc?

Is it routed color core? We typically see that, aluminum and regular vinyl decals on this type of equipment. Caterpillar used to use aluminum riveted to the machine for their warnings and would assume it's dye sub. They are legible for years but the newer machines we see are all vinyl decals...
  18. The next generation of adobe users now work among us

There are so many different color standards, it's hard to keep up with it and none of them have an exact crossover. We reference RAL quite a bit, I think that is the standard in powder coat. Then there are federal standards which has a code that dictate the sheen as well as the color...
  19. The next generation of adobe users now work among us

Don't you have a camera with your Matthews setup? I never tried to read a printed swatch with it but we scan paint quite often. Maybe a print is too grainy?
