I'm not liking the sound of that. Sure hope you're a girl.
  4. Need Help Cursive font help needed

That's not cursive, just italicized something and then the kerning was taken out almost completely..
  5. Exterior building directory - how/where to install?

See how your example names the place, even where you're standing and separates the different levels ?? The extra panel behind is a nice touch and not really dated yet.
  6. Exterior building directory - how/where to install?

Either angle or tube frame like he said. Extend beyond the glass to the edge of the two ends of the mullions. According to how tall it is, possibly another one across the middle, to prevent any movement. Use at least 6mm acm. Design it, so you can just make an easy patch as they change...
  7. Exterior building directory - how/where to install?

Not to mention, that has got to be about the dumbest way I've ever seen hours listed.
  8. Exterior building directory - how/where to install?

Wa-a-a-ay too small for a building directory. Possibly a nice looking 'real' directory across both mullions would suffice. Make it strong enough that it cannot be yanked off when spanning the glass
  9. Help on Pricing Installation

Why ?? Not a good place to cheap out.
  10. Help on Pricing Installation

    * Will you be traveling to their site ?? * Will all the trucks be washed and thoroughly clean for a final alcohol wipe down ?? * Will you need ladders and possibly a walk plank ?? * Will you be using air egress vinyl and lam ?? * Have you seen the condition of all the faces to be decorated, or...

  12. I'm no wrapper...big old FAIL

Understood. You don't like lying on your back to make money. Understood.
  13. I'm no wrapper...big old FAIL

Like with dogs...... shed happens. Question: if you can lay the blue down, why can't you do it with the black ?? Was it air release ??
  14. Sign Painting

    Do you have a Matthew's setup ??
  15. Replacing my vinyl cutter, recommendations?

Why not live a little and invest in yourself and expand your capabilities ??
  16. Panface poly vs flat sheet

The way it's built, it looks like an old pepsi/7-up kinda setup. Usually about 4 to 4.5" wide. Nothing flat will work, unless as suggested, it is no longer used as a backlit. If I were you, I'd decline quoting. You'll hafta physically go out and measure the sign exactly. Otherwise, if...
  17. Panface poly vs flat sheet

How deep is the box, itself ??
  18. Boots on the ground marketing?

Figure out what you can excel in doing. According to your OP, you're not even ready to produce anything, so how do you know what or who you can service ?? Pounding the pavement is probably one of the best things we ever did. However, that was over 40 years ago before all the other methods...
  19. Bubbling vinyl?

Depends on how you price it............. but generally, me neither. I'd give them 3 choices. 1. Have us remove it all, reprint/cut and apply all new. 2. Pay us to pop all the bubbles and flatten out to the best of our ability. 3. Get a case or two of beer and take a weekend and pop them...
  20. Bubbling vinyl?

Did anything at all come out while popping them ?? Looks like someone didn't get all the wetness out while squeegeeing. Also, do you think it would be more money saving to remove everything and start over..... than to hire someone to just be popping them for a day ??
