  1. HP L25500 Banding

Oddly enough it was the yellow/black printheads. They were new but not working properly. HP replaced them under warranty. I heard HP was having some issues with a batch of printheads from back in January. Everything back to normal now.

  3. Fair Price for....

Yea, I already have prior knowledge of the website. There are several other things factored into the $10k other than just the shipping. Not sure I would trust uship.com on this one. I want a reputable company to take care of transit rather than some random dude wanting to drive cross county...
  4. Fair Price for....

Not really. The machine is on the 3rd story of this building and the rigging alone is $4k. Several rigging companies have quoted and $4k is the best price. We are also paying for a dedicated run truck with insurance, ect. These costs add up quickly. Believe me, $10k sounds ridiculous I know...
  5. Fair Price for....

Sorry KevSign, this is the machine I'm talking about. I purchased that machine on GG for $45k. I'm in Virginia so it's going to cost me $10K to get it to me (decommission, rigging, freight, install). The machine was only used as a proofing machine for a huge company in LA.

I have the test print and all jets are firing almost perfectly.
  7. How to hide a seam between acrylic panels

We've used changeable tracking used for changeable letter signs. We have used the bottom track and cut 2 pieces and used IPS weld on. We welded one piece of tracking on the edge of piece one and welded another piece of tracking (flipped opposite of how the first piece was welded) on piece two...
  8. Fair Price for....

What is a fair price for an HP FB500 printer used? The printer is almost 1 year old. The printer has been inspected and has less than 400 hrs of print time. All 6 ink filters have had 10 liters or less pass through them. All the heads are in almost perfect condition. The printer comes...
  9. Need a Corner Rounder for .080

I have this one. Bought it a couple years ago. Expensive but worth the investment. They are asking $710 but I offered $600 and they accepted. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lassco-CR-60-Corner-Rounder-Sign-Cornerounder-FREE-S-H-/170403102655?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27acd0ffbf
  10. Colorspan 98UVX Flatbed Printer

I have a Colorspan 98UVX Flatbed Printer for sale. This machine has a print width of 98". This machine is fully functional. The printheads are in good condition and can be verified by a print test. The machine is up and running every day throughout the week. There are no known problems with this...
  11. Buying a new printer...Which one?

This statement is absurd. The prints off my latex are far more scratch resistant than they ever were off my Roland. The prints aren't glossy, that is correct but how many things do you send out your door that aren't laminated with gloss laminate anyhow? HP latex is a great technology it is...
  12. Another SDS (combo) deal...

Yes, I found this deal earlier in the week as well. Mine combo deal should be here tomorrow. Like Moze said, for $90 I don't think you can go wrong. Good reviews, 2 batteries and batteries for life made me think it was worth a chance.
  13. Ultraflex Jetflex Banner Profile

What profile are people using for JetFlex banner material that is being printed on the HP L25500? I'm running Caldera 9. I have been using the profile off Ultraflex's website for over a year now and it works great on my 54" material but on my 38" material it seems to deform the media (make it...

  15. SDS Drill..................

I have a corded Dewalt SDS and it works great. I have had it for about 5 years. I have both Bosch and Dewalt drills and both make good products. Don't rule out the Dewalt though.
  16. Brick Wall Mural

Once again, this can not be painted, it only needs to be on the wall for 1 year.
  17. Brick Wall Mural

Just found out that they are looking for this mural to last only 1 year. So paint isn't going to be an option. I was required to give them the 3M bulletin for 8624 and apparently it mentions that freeze zones could cause problems and also that there could also be a problem with mold from...
  18. Brick Wall Mural

Anyone used the new 3M 480cv3 for a brick wall application? My fellers rep came in today and said that this material would work best for this application. Does anyone have any input? Otherwise I will be using 3M IJ8624.
  19. I need 80,000...

Anybody got any ideas for a super cheap material that would be used to display a interior point of purchase product? Requirements are: it must be 3/4" thick, it must be black (not looking to paint them), it must be able to be able to be screwed into and hold an item that might weight 4-5 lbs...
  20. CET FK512 color profiles

+1 If it's a possibility switch to Caldera. I fought and fought with learning Onyx and decided to switch to Caldera and it has been the best move I have made. Caldera just makes sense. I know this doesn't help your immediate situation, sorry.
