I looking for some constructive criticism in reference to the logo(s) attached. I have been in business for coming up on 10 years and the logo with the dots is my current logo and has been since day one. I have never been crazy about it for the reason that it reads as all one word and doesn't...
Yes, I think they are all out of warranty. I have heard people say they have gotten upwards of 8 cartridges out one printhead. I have the printhead ready I just don't want to waste it since the way it is printing looks fine.
My machine is asking me to replace the printhead. I have taken the old printhead out twice and just put the old one back in and it has gone through its alignment/print process. It keeps coming up after each time I print a job. I was thinking you could override this setting. The printhead...
I have been using the HP Permanent Gloss Adhesive Vinyl 10 Pass Profile. I find that if I put the heat below 110 then my prints don't cure. If it's above 110 then I have some bubbling in the backing paper. It doesn't cause a huge problem but it's something I would like to take care of.
Refilling toner does not affect the quality if done correctly. I'm not saying refilling is a bad option. if done right its a great option. I'm just saying it has to be done correctly in order to get a good result. All the parts listed within the toner will need to be replaced at some point...
I just sold our other business last April which was an ink and toner refill business so I know the ins and outs of refilling toners. Refilling a toner isn't all that hard if you have the right tools and you know the correct procedures for taking the cartridge apart and putting it back together...
You will love your HP Latex. They are great machines. I also run Caldera with mine and it is by far the easiest to operate from what I have gathered. I tried Onyx and if you have no prior experience with it then expect a decent learning curve. Caldera can be picked up with 10 mins of loading...
Tony,
I just reinstalled Omega 3.0 on a new computer and now when I try to overwrite an existing plt file it is saving it as (filename)-30. I know i had this same problem the last time I switched computers. I installed the service pack 1. What do I need to do?

I am running a HP Latex machine and I started out with Flexi and it was horrible. I then went to Onxy 10 and found it very difficult to operate. I'm sure it's a great RIP program but it seemed as though the learning curve was going to be rather steep. I couldn't understand the overall...
I have had both so I can compare Roland with Hp and I prefer the Hp over my old Roland. Ink cost is much lower $110 for 775ml vs $120 for 440. Banding will never be an issue with latex whereas solvent will always have that problem. The fact that outgassing isn't an issue is a major plus for a...
Roland is good but look into the Hp latex machines. Output quality is fantastic and the machines are affordable. Ink cost is much less. Overall best machine for the money.
Definitely try Caldera. They will pretty much give you however long you need as a trial. I bought Onyx and absolutely hated it so I demoed and bought Caldera. Caldera is an awesome RIP program. Leaps and bounds above Onyx IMO.
