  1. Copyrighted Artwork?

By the way...to the OP - sorry for being a thread pirate.
  2. Copyrighted Artwork?

You crack me up. You'll never admit you're wrong on this. You can insult my typos all you want or quote as many legendary coca cola lawyers as you see fit but how does anything you highlighted above relate at all to being able to recreate any logo you want as long as you don't use the original...
  3. Copyrighted Artwork?

I still call Goatwash. Since you can't seem to provide any basis for anything you have posted regarding your twisted views on copyright, how about this (from Wikipedia:) "Copyright does not cover ideas and information themselves, only the form or manner in which they are expressed.[18] For...
  4. Copyrighted Artwork?

Hogwash. Or in your case - "Goatwash." Show me something to back up what you claim, can't wait to see it.
  5. Copyrighted Artwork?

So far off base its not even funny. By your logic, any slogan, song, poem, book, etc that was simply "re-created" would not infringe on the copyright? I.E. i could simply retype any book in a different font and call it my own? or perform any song i hear and sell for profit? PLEASE show us...

  7. Ordered Caldera Today

If you've been using onyx, you'll love caldera. We had a huge improvement in print quality when we switched, but be sure to make sure your profiles are set correctly and do plenty of testing, as you may find Caldera tends to lay down more ink than onyx did.
  8. More of Phillip's handywork...

If you hired someone to do it for ya, isn't it their job to incorporate it or execute that vision? I'm surprised you wouldn't have brought up the idea as a concept in your briefing, i think something along those lines would be much stronger. Might be worth tossing up a few of the others for...
  9. Politics aside, Clint Eastwood

you guys watch the same thing i did? i am far from left wing as are many others saying it was turrible. http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0812/80508.html?hp=l1_b2 Of course msncb is gonna hate it, bui i have a feeling it's not only liberals thinking the same thing though.
  10. Step right up, guess what this says!

  11. Politics aside, Clint Eastwood

i listened to it on the radio and had to turn it off. Was he using a teleprompter? if not he should have...dude was rambling all over the place. And i was gonna lose my mind if i heard him say "...and uh...and uh..." one more time. Maybe it was more extreme on the radio, but wow....dude...
  12. More of Phillip's handywork...

After reading this i immediately had the idea of making your identity look like a blueprint, or perhaps an engineering drawing of some kind....maybe with a really techical looking sketch of a tape measure, and perhaps incorporate the slug lines and other technical info you always see on...
  13. More of Phillip's handywork...

Hmmm. Unfortunately I am with Bob on this one, there isn't much I like about it other the choice of font for "sign services" and as others have said says absolutely nothing to me about "precision" or "sign services". The soft rule tape has no energy at all, no flow, I think that's why it seems...
  14. Which Printer? HP L28500 or ColorPainter 104"?

Go latex and don't look back. We never have to wait on any curing or outgassing. All our prints go straight to finishing and no need for any venting. The prints are totally odorless.

I've been keeping my eye on this company ever since Merritt posted a link to em a few month ago. Will be stopping by their SGIA booth for sure.
