I don't care what you have for computing power, some of these files are hogs and nothing in the realm of what we use will make it better. If you have time to sit around with everything you're running lagging and freezing then more power to you.
What are the limitations of using the Onyx RIP that is included with the Epson S series printers? Can it create OPOS marks and output for a Summa? I contacted Epson and they said it should but they don't know.
You did the last 2 faces and they price checked you on this one? That's annoying. 2+ day install on a simple project = loser. You are probably lucky that you didn't have to fool with it.
The RIPs are what I was eluding to. The power users will probably disagree but all of these RIPs seem so clunky and unintuitive. Versaworks was simple, 20 minutes of fooling with it and you got it licked. Rasterlink, despite what some say was almost as simple and as easy to learn as VW but...
It's just trying to figure out GoSign and the corel plugin. I hate changing software. To me, between the graphtec FC9000 and the summa S2T with the opos cam, there is no comparison. I should have just bought the summa to begin with.
Looks like a Fayon table. Just look them up and deal direct with the manufacturer. Or left like Victor said. We have a Fayon table, it works fine and got it right from them. The bearings/guides are getting worn but that's a simple fix. I think 2ctmedia also had one of their tables...
