We have done used this on Fire Trucks to take around front curves and on the back of other vehicles, like Fire Police and other government vehicles, to conform to convex curves. It does help with preventing crease marks in the reflective. Now to do something like that frontend of the van, I...
Not on the newer machines, like the FC9000. You adjust depth to the depth of the material you are cutting: plain vinyl, laminated vinyl, vinyl with 10mm polycarbonate lamination (floor graphics), etc...
Missing a bit of information on what you are doing, but quick tip is you can apply reflective vinyl onto a wrap vinyl (like Arlon Cast Wrap SLX) to make it easier to apply onto the contours of a vehicle.
My best suggestion is to ask yourself why you are not keeping the needed substrate in stock... clearly a percentage of the issue is time for material acquisition, so money invested into inventory positively drives bottomline and can mitigate some stress. We always keep some vinyls and substrate...

We setup the printed marks in Flexi using the Contour Cut Mark button (green center, shows 4 crop marks and a dotted pattern), choosing Graphtec 4 Type 1 (or 2) marks, and sending the cut via the Cut Contour button (shows as a plotter blade over a burgundy rectangle), which sends it to Flexi...
