  1. _

Maybe the OP can just change all the negative signs in his books to periods. All problems, gone. .
  2. How to explain outsourcing?

Great question overall, gnubler, thanks for asking it! I've often wondered if there was a better way to explain how some of these jobs got done, without all my fumbling for the right words. Let me add my thanks to everyone as well with the great responses.
  3. AUTOMATION and WORKFLOW

Love your avatar, myront. It truly give me piece of mind.
  4. Steamboat Willie Entering The Public Domain

The best part about all of this Disney-Public Domain hubbub is that Disney has made its zillions by recreating famous stories that are, you guessed it: in the public domain. A short list: Cinderella Snow White and the Seven Dwarves Beauty and the Beast The Little Mermaid Sleeping Beauty The...
  5. Fatheads

I can frost a cake with a paper knife. Who else is old and remembers that?
  6. DTF Decals

Samples are on the way, thanks for the info. Seems to be a large number of DTF vendors out there!
  7. Font of The year

That font style drives me nuts, as it makes me think of the sans serif fonts included in Microsoft Office products, or many of the Google web fonts. Which, I strongly believe, is what led to such a font to be voted on by Fiverrrr folks: all that exposure to "free fonts".
  8. DTF Decals

Unclebun, what vendor do you use for your DTF garment transfers?
  9. Unhandled Exception Error!!!!HEP!!!!!!

Personally, I'm glad you revived this nearly 12 year old post because I learned that "backtick" isn't just something you find after a walk in the woods.
  10. Sinalite compromises credit cards - A PSA

Ugh. Horrible. Guess it would be wise to make the necessary payment changes with them. Thanks for the heads up!
  11. Sinalite compromises credit cards - A PSA

Signscorp, any further details on this? e.g., what exactly did you notice, are you sure it's Sinalite, etc.? I've been using Sinalite for a few years now, and keep a pretty good eye on my statements -- nothing out of the ordinary as of yet (knock knock knock).
  12. Looking for Stock art

Possible helpful tip, if you have an Adobe Creative Cloud (or an Adobe Express) subscription. I do this quite often. - Open up Adobe Express from Creative Cloud Desktop. - Start a new document (I generally use "Poster" for a larger image -- I think the max is only 20" x 20", however, so this...
  13. Hello Everyone

Hello from Indiana, the Land of Corn Solar Farms!
  14. Is Everyone Tired Of AI

That's why I said "So, now -- if these features are truly "Artificial Intelligence", then, no... not sick of it yet." Because I don't know. Just going by the usage of the terms. It could be very loosely interpreted... I bet someone could explain why ALL computer code could be considered...
  15. Is Everyone Tired Of AI

Yes you do indeed resemble that remark :) The Topaz apps are great, I use them as well. Planning to promote some local work by offering "AI-Enhancement Services" for sign and banner work in the New Year... You know, for when a parent send in that shitty, low-res, ultra-compressed, postage-stamp...
  16. Is Everyone Tired Of AI

And how was your 25-cent coffee? :D
  17. En Garde!!!

That looks like what I get when I ask a client for a vector file of their logo.
  18. Is Everyone Tired Of AI

There are some AI features that I have been using that are actually quite wonderful and productive. One example is being able to artificially expand a photo. Say you have a photo of a farm landscape. You need the barn, tractor, animals, etc. to remain, but you need the crop fields to extend more...
  19. Copying Vintage Old Logo labels for restoring old equipment

I've been taking forever on a similar project that's fun to do, time-consuming, and will generate very little money. But I find the whole creating / making / selling / shipping process cathartic for some reason. Here's the first one I did and finally got it online for sale. Bowling alley from...
  20. Urgent Help 2

There have been many recent posts that do indeed reek of bot data-gathering, that's for sure. Those weirdly-worded, out-of-the-blue requests... "How Do You Like Printing Signs?" and the like.
