For re signs I would recommend one of the merchant members here or one of the 3 companies that exclusively make RE signs.
Oakley signs, Dee signs and Lowen signs.
If you don't like the warm up time of the epson, don't get a latex painter.
The 360 we had took forever to warm up.
I don't know if the newer ones are any better.
The best reason I have found to upgrade any print & cut program is for the drivers fro a new printer or other piece of equipment.
If I didn't have a Epson 40600, I would still be using flexi 8.6.
I do have a copy of signlab also but don't use it much.
Ive been watching how they hot tank acid bath and rust neutralize old cars on youtube.
It may be something that would work for you. they hot tank it in an acid bath to soften the paint.
Remove the old paint with a pressure washer, then dip it in a rust neutralizer/ preventer.
