To add on to Notareal - check out Fire Sprints website, he has a really nice overhead calculator on it.
Next, my business is similar to yours. I do a lot of apparel. The easiest, most profitable way to get into it is get a good heatpress like a GeoKnight - skip the cheap ones. You will have it...
I'd like to know what grommets others use also.
I'm not sure if it's my grommet machine or the grommets but the little circle that gets cut out is always stuck by a small piece and I have to pull or cut it out. Is it the grommets or the press?
I would use regular black. If you want the gradients in there you can just send the print to signs365 on printed vinyl with a contour cut and then use black cut vinyl for the words below.
Maybe a high tack vinyl like Convex brand? I haven't used it in a while but when I did, it worked very well. I believe they can send you some free samples.
A lot of it has to do with the people running each school. It's a small few that make decisions for all - like Notareal said.
I only had an issue with 2 teachers. Otherwise, I found all of them to be concerned about my kids education. I think they get the short end of the stick. They don't make...
Make sure your blade is tight. Mine wasn't and my circle cuts were off. I also encountered one of my rollers doesn't always go down. Just a thought since you have 3 weeks to wait LOL
A few years back our school went from ABCDF to 1234. From what my son told me, the teachers were NOT happy about this. I think colleges switched to 1234 so the school wanted to match that? It made it impossible to get a 1, in order to get a 1 (A?) you had to do work in the above grade level. So...
Up here in my area the job market is starting to tighten up. Three people hired at the same time at my son's workplace. One got fired two weeks ago. One was denied an upgrade in position. BOTH of them because they call in sick and can't make it to work on time. If it was a year ago - the company...
My boys were both in the advanced math class since middle school. My youngest was in a gifted type group with 3 other boys. They are both graduated now but I was sad to hear my school stopped doing that class/group because of diversity crap. I have good basic math skills but I never grasped...
Totally agree! You might need to rent some non-decaled trucks for the billboard install! And plain shirts without your business name LOL!!
There was a van parked a few miles away that had bloody aborted babies about 3' tall on the sides. I didn't do that van but I often wonder when I drive by...
I was just going to say that looks just like Sticker Mule's backing paper. Are they applying these with a machine or by hand? If they have a machine it should be adjustable to your backing paper...by hand, who cares? Weird request.
Yes, it sounds that way! It's so difficult dealing with multiple people from one location unless they are all on the same page! I wouldn't get involved if I was you either!
I can see what Victor is saying and some of what Signarama is saying. My son does snow plowing and one company rejected his bid because he only has one snowplow truck. The guy owns clinics/hospital properties and requires a minimum of two plow trucks, in the case one breaks down, there's a...
