I have a line item in my quoting system and it just says S.F. It's used only when its a bad penny. It's usually about 33% of the overall cost at the end. Care to guess what it stands for ?? If the customer asks, what's this, I tell them, oh that, it's my 'selective factoring'. Ohh.... so...

If you spec out to them, exactly how you want it furnished, what could go wrong ?? If someone wrote to me, you did this wrong and I showed them I followed their instructions and followed codes, why would you NOT be at least partly liable ?? Seeing something like that would turn me away from...

So, why not create several NEW files, saving them all under a different format, different type styles and send them various ways ?? This sounds more like some glitch in your software and it's not responding correctly. I'd sooner think rather than a workaround, a complete removal of one program...

If I understand this, what you are describing is.... if you type in the word 'Wing', your plotter will not cut the 'i' at all regardless of the type style you choose ??

They're gonna do what many of us suggested to you. Clean around the edge and make an overlay to cover up all the crap. Doubt they'll use stand-offs, as you could see the ugliness left behind it, so, it'll probably be a flush mount.

There are so many ways to do this, it ain't even funny. If you have several colors, make a pounce. Three or less. make a template. Based on your sample, if your installer can't put that bottom line on straight...... fire his/her a$$. and if they can't eyeball a simple curve like that, get...

Street signs should be screen printed, not digitally printed on a machine. Then, they'll last 8 or 10 years.

Humm...... sounds like nice stuff. Just seems like an extra cost for an extra step or two for no real advantage. Like to see it in use, that's for sure.

Talk them into using .010 styrene instead of paper. It's not easy pushing paper into such a large area without crumpling it.
