Ill give this a shot, but I don't think it will work with our HP 700w Latex. The only way to get white to print VIA flexi thru using a specific spot white.
We are now running the current version 22.0.1 of Flexi and they still have not added an option other than CYMK and RGB for the crop mark...
So I tried it out and perhaps I am doing something wrong, but when I do values of 100,89,38,34 with 5% between, It generates the swatches but im getting a bunch of white swatches with values of 0,0,0,0. See attached image. Any idea whats happening?
We have the 700W and it works just fine for the C/W/C. I have printed that way on both IJ8150 and also IJ3630, just depends on the plastic substrate and illumination. If you have any particular questions, let me know. The white system with the 700 and 800 takes some getting used to, but...
Ive only been able to do that using flexisign rip and print, setting the EJ up as the printer and the XR as the cutter. I know that doesnt help if you dont already own or subscribe to flexi, but thats how i managed that issue in the past.

I have a HP 700W Latex Printer and it can print white. I am trying to print white ink onto a dark purple vinyl. Print quality is great, but my graphtec plotter cant read the contour marks as there is not enough contrast between the black contour marks and the dark purple vinyl. Flexi gives me...
A few ideas:
1: Is your printing environment consistent? Room temp, humidity, etc?
2: Is your artwork all vector or do you have some raster items like drop shadows or photos? If possible, you can try and rasterize everything before you send to versaworks and see if you get the same special...
One thing i didnt see mentioned: You want to work with cast acrylic, not extruded. The extruded is under pressure like tempered glass I believe. When you sand or polish it and it heats up, you create a heat differential which can cause stress fractures. Cast acrylic does not do this.
Our company has been doing several sets of Channel Letter face replacements for Sears Corp. Contact me and I will provide you with our project managers contact information.
If you havent already tried, try cleaning the encoder strip with some Isopropyl Alcohol. I use a lint free cloth and moisten it with alcohol and lightly wipe my strip. Im shocked every time with how much dust and ink particles end up on the cloth.
This appears to be Self Contained Epoxy Resin filled 1" Acrylic with LED illumination, mounted to flat aluminum with standoffs. Probably a blockout vinyl overlay for the faces, hard to tell from the photograph.
Basically, the 1" acrylic letter is hogged out in its back and LED ribbons are...
I deal with large rolls of panaflex every day. A full roll of 59" is kinda heavy. A 79" rolll is really heavy. A 126" roll is ridiculously heavy. How are you people storing and manipulating these monsters? Ive thought of a rack system, but i cant imagine anything other than a solid steel...
