You can try to move the start point of the shape on the original outline in Composer, or if you have ArtPATH that comes with Omega 4/5 there is a tool selection where you can 'slice" a new start point anywhere on the tool path.

What version of Omega? What version of Windows? What Edge - I or II? Are you using the parallel cable or USB to Parallel? When it says new hardware does it tell you What? Have you done Windows updates?

Are your QUEUE folders "shared" as GSPQUEUE? I would call tech support (no charge) to help you out.

I assume this is a Edge II - on older units we had some problems with the foil motors and we added this kludge (fix), at some point we changed the motors and this was no longer needed. That's all I know. If you want more detail you should call service with a model number, etc

Just a note when looking for the latest build check Composer's "About dialog" it is the Omega Version you need to refer to. The latest Build is 5.0.0.69.

To save myself from this type of stuff I normally save the PLT (embed images), PRM and a SPL file and make notes in the SPL file. Taking all three files and make a zip.
