I'm not sure what you were going to use that is 48". Wrapping films for printing generally come 54" wide. The non-printable wrapping films come 60" wide. Since your box is 48" you'll find it much easier to have the 60" material. Pull back just a few inches or a foot of the backing paper, stick...
Don't use the wrap film that's meant for printing. Unless you laminate it first it is too thin and floppy. You'll go crazy trying to handle it. Use the color change wrap film like 3M 1080.
The Bambu X1C can to 10"x10"x10". That's pretty limiting for channel letters. I have three channel letter jobs in the mill right now. None of them could be completed with that size limitation. The machines being touted in Europe for making channel letters are much, much larger.
Yes, we use polycarbonate quite frequently, and it's one of the most disappointing substrates we use in terms of UV reaction. Dingy yellow sign faces abound.
I'm not sure I've ever used polyethylene in a sign.
We have always used 3/4" MDF to make our tables. It comes 49"x97" but we rip an 11"x97" and put the two side by side to make the tabletop 60"x97". We tried self healing mats but abandoned that and just use 3mm expanded PVC to make the top surface. Cut it in pieces 48"x60" and use banner tape to...
I did a little research on this. There's a company that it looks like is in Germany pushing this using printers being made or marketed by a company in the Netherlands. They are touting speed, efficiency, and being able to reproduce fonts. But when you try to look deeper what you find is that the...
You don't need to laminate store window perf. You have to laminate vehicle window perf. Not just to protect from car washes but also to retain outward visibility in the rain.
Not very often. Our sign ordinance is very disfavorable towards storefront window wraps. The square footage counts against the business's total signage area.
If it's on the building then the vinyl isn't laminated. It's probably just oily residue on the glass in the holes. Soft window washer's brush and lots of soapy water. Hose to rinse.
It's possible that the pesticide had a solvent in it which has permanently damaged the formerly optically clear laminate you used. In that case no amount of cleaning will ever clear it up.
The way Epson service works is they overnight all the parts that they think they might need to do the repair so you have them on hand before the tech shows up. He will replace anything that needs replacing and the unused parts he returns to Epson.

You will not find them at nowhere. You will find them at any Graphtec dealer. Or ebay. It's the same strip for all sizes. You just cut it shorter with scissors to fit the shorter plotters.
