Never liked lard oil either, it smells and roaches seem attracted to eating the hairs on your brushes. Still have a some transmission oil left, but it is from the 60s and I am sure there are more additives now in the newer oil, so do not know if it would be good to use for brushes.

I always liked the red transmission oil for my brushes, some may not agree but it has kept them good for over 30 years.

No the rectangle and parking all get cut at once, then you peel out the word parking, apply transfer tape and put on white panel. When you remove tape the red rectangle will be there with white letters. There are hundreds of YouTube videos on this subject.

I use a empty candy cardboard box with aluminum foil on the bottom and soak the brushes in oil and it is cheaper than a tackle box. Had this box for 30 years on the shelf. Just don't let it get wet.

You may be getting a moire pattern from your printer. I would make the 1mm stripes in Illustrator and place in the document as a vector or place in Phoyoshop, flatten art, save as high .jepg and place that in document. In Illustrator, make 1mm black x height, drag to where you want the next one...

Are you using smart objects in Photoshop to make the lines and then flattening them when you save them.

You have to have a vector (cut lines) for the red box and one for the copy which needs to be in front of red. The plotter will cut the box lines and then the copy lines then peel out the copy letters leaving the red box with white copy.
