  2. 12 -15 feet of banner roll ends are garbage!!

I've found that to be true for the material I use also. Last 10 or so feet are useless! Asked my supplier about it one time and got the explanation that they don't actually start the measurement count on material until a few rolls around the core... anywhere from 3-8 feet. Well, how can we know...

  4. 2010 Nor'easter?

I actually thought about making a driving journey out of it... but 39 hours each way for a 3 day event is hard to justify! Plus the cost of gas these days!

Great story Steph! It seriously brought a few tears of joy! :clapping: I had the privilege of meeting Al at last years meet, and I hope I'm lucky enough to meet him again in the future! He's a class act!
  6. Explain your avatar / name

A close friend of ours always calls me "Tim Tim Tim" for some reason I've yet to determine! Even her kids call me that. So, I shortened it to "T3" which has nothing to do with the popular movie series Terminator!! Other friends have always called me "T" (I think after Tony Soprano), so it kind...

  8. Thanks Again for the Concern....

I have to agree about people on this forum being a real class act! :thumb: In the short time I've been a member here, I've seen some incredible gestures of charity when someone is truly in need. It's funny how we as human beings can step up to help out a total stranger... especially someone whom...

  12. 15" envision plotter?

Spoke to a Gerber technician just now. He says to clean the wheels & track with lint-free cloth & isopropyl alcohol if there is visible dust, and if I like, I can apply a very thin layer of 3in1 oil or sewing machine oil along the track with my finger. That's about it for on-going maintenance...
  13. 15" envision plotter?

That's the same model I have. When I went through the training, I was told that the plotter needed virtually zero maintenance. I was also told that these things don't depreciate like other equipment! Since I'm still under warranty, I'll pose your question to Gerber and see what they say!!

  16. bit of a problem

Do the best you can, and when you end up re-running it, point out to your boss that he'd be way ahead of the game if he had just printed it on the good vinyl the first time. Your boss shouldn't be in business if this is the way he treats his staff and customers. It's not fair to put that kind...
  17. Printing decals numbered 1-400

Costing me $531.06 to go from 3 to 4, but for the features they've added, it is well worth it. Enabling my FX to go to 1200dpi alone is worth it!! :clapping:
  18. Printing decals numbered 1-400

  20. Printing decals numbered 1-400

Here's a link to Gerber's training video on auto-numbering in Omega... not sure if it applies to your version... hope it helps! It's a 48 minute video, but well worth watching! http://www.gspinc.com/downloads/video/OMEGA/autotextDecals/autotextDecals.html Just watched the beginning and Dana...
