I've often wondered about this in CS2 as well, but holy cow...that's confusing to me.

I have a hard time believing that a cop wouldn't stop them and tell them they can't do that...but, if not...I wouldn't be shocked. That's nuts.

I tell them about a week generally, unless it really is longer. If it is a petty job, and a tight wad customer, I will tell them one to two weeks, and that is because I will run it with another job, but I have to wait till I have that. If they gripe about the time, I tell them I can do it...

Then you either don't charge enough for banners, or you read slow...one of the two.

I'm not sure what the issue is if you just design accordingly. Can you take them out of there since they really aren't needed?

I'd say no, but I don't know about this subject enough. It's like converting something copyrighted from a jpeg to a gif and calling it ok.

You can't do anything. They don't have to pay. Period. I've tried EVERYTHING to get a customer that owes me $5,000 to pay. All I get is, well, he can file bankruptcy, and you can't do anything but watch. Nothing. Only in America.

None of us wanna pay sales tax, but it's a part of life... I love it when customers think we are like, putting that in our pocket or something. Yet, when they go to the store, they don't give it a second thought.

I've never had great luck laminating, so if I ever print anything like that, I sub it. That way I don't have to stock a ton of expensive vinyl and laminates that I only use for that job, and there is 0% chance of error since it's someone else's problem. If that's an option, you may look into...

Just in case you were wondering...if you get an ink cartridge that is purple instead of clear...and it didn't really register until you pick it up and there is something sloshing around in there...it means that your ink cartridge probably broke. Fellers is sending out another one, no big...
