i used it all the time ..
ITs a really good basic RIP. Does every thing most of us would want. Essentially it will run a large format printer out of just about any software. Beats the hell out of spending 4 grand for a package that is limited to only that software...
C'mon.. use your tools, You promote yourself as a designer...
Print it out,, get some velum. Trace by hand it using a felt pen. There all nice and thick.. Then take it into corel and trace it. there thick piece..
well,,
The forum for that software is no longer here.
However it was ignored by the rep anyway for a very long time.
But I noticed he is/has posted on other forums all along. Not fair...
I guess he got tired of being called out on the vmp problems and their site being down for so long..
What he means is,, if you use a commonly used software you will get lots of help. If you use some off brand never heard of before software then you will be very limited in both usage and help from others.
I believe its a cut master problem. But, i don't use it so i cannot be sure.
However I contour and adjust sizes all the time in corel and have for years.... Then send the cut job to Cocut Pro and never have a problem with strange sizes.
What is your cutter?
I think you better go to another board and ask for cheap software to run your printer. You overspent for Christmas and now you ask for cheap. Then you talk of a hacked copy of software you can use because you can't load the color section.. Too bad,, so sad..
I think you will find that no one...
pjannto RIP is a good basic RIP. Its fast and gets to the point without a lot of those bells and whistles most of us never use.
IT works well with my encad..'
IT comes with COCUT Pro but you can get it as a stand alone software.
The software RIP works like a Windows printer driver via TCP/IP...
