  1. Neewww Guy Here. I Have A Billion Questions Lol

Right now Mimaki has some awesome specials on almost their whole line of printers. You could get a brand new 64" printer for $10,995 + shipping, install etc. The price is all up to your local dealer and you of course but I figured you would want to know. Mimaki is a well known name brand and has...
  2. Magenta Tubes Look Purple Or Brown

Seeing that it is so new, everything I mentioned above still applies but none of those items should have failed so early. You should have a 1 year warranty. I would have them come out and fix it. I have never seen such bad contamination on a printer that was less than a year old. Either...
  3. Magenta Tubes Look Purple Or Brown

Although it is possible that what SW suggested might fix the problem temporarily (which I doubt), it is just a band aid and doesn't fix the reason it failed in the first place. You will end up right back at this point after some time. How old is the machine? New, used?
  4. Magenta Tubes Look Purple Or Brown

It's called cross contamination. Usually the cause is the cap top is not draining fast enough and leaves ink in the cap top. This ink then wicks up into the head. It also usually means that the dampers are failing/too weak to hold the correct pressure. I would take the dampers off, take the...
  5. No Black / Then No Cyan ?

I would hook the syringe directly up to the cap top tube and pull from there. This will tell you if the cap is sealing correctly and it should pull the ink down through the system fairly easy. Depending on the size of syringe you are using, you should be able to see the ink flow through the...
  6. No Black / Then No Cyan ?

What's the model? Are you just pulling air on the cyan or do you feel back pressure on the syringe? Double check that your cartridge has ink in it. Sometimes it doesn't flag the printer and that would cause this issue. Let us know the model and we can help more.
  7. Need Help Epson Gs600o Ink Hack Issue

I am willing to bet the machine has recognized you are tricking it and is emptying your ink as a punishment. It sounds far fetched but Roland did it years back as well.
  8. Roland Sp300 Server Board Part# 7840605600

You mean Servo Board. The Servo board runs the motors. In general motor errors are usually caused by physical issues and/or the encoder system is malfunctioning. What error are you getting?
  9. Need Help SC545ex no print problem

Something is blowing those fuses and it's probably a crooked, dirty or damaged cable somewhere along the way. The main reason fuses blow is because of a short in the system. The next most common way they blow is that you either worked with the machine plugged in or did not discharge the machine...
  10. SP540V Stair Stepping, Poor Color

Good to hear you are up and running! The .146% is just the amount the machine compensated for what it read and what it expected to read. If the number is too high, it fails to complete.
  11. Problems when printing over 4 feet.

I saw this after I responded. If the line is consistently in the same place, you need to clean your encoder strip or replace it.
  12. Problems when printing over 4 feet.

Joe House is getting you on the right track. Your media is buckling which causes the issue you are having. When the media buckles, the ink hit's those spots sooner than it is supposed to which makes a pattern that looks like a combination of ink drop out and bad alignments. Heat settings that...
  13. Need Help Need help locating manual head adjustment on SP-540i

It's under the "Head Adjust" menu and you should do all of the alignments in there and in order for the best results. Just do the first alignment that pops up and when you are done with that one, scroll down to the next one and continue until all of the adjustments have been done. The one you...
  14. Mimaki JV33 problems

The pack-end sensor could be broken. It's the sensor that detects if a cartridge is in place. Take the cartridge out and look in there with a flashlight. Now compare it to one that is working. You should be able to tell if there is damage. It's also possible that there is some sort of debris...
  15. Mimaki type of ink

SS21 - Most Common Ink Type, Used For Making Outdoor Durable Signage, Good Scratch Resistance, Mild Solvent Based ES3 - Less Common, Less Outdoor Durability, Less Scratch Resistance, More Environmentally Friendly, Used For Making Outdoor Signage but Lamination is recommended, Light Solvent...
  16. SAi Production Suite 12 activation needed

Call Flexi or your local Flexi dealer. They will have trial activation codes you can use to try it out.
  17. DX5 printhead for Mutoh 13xx/12xx/16xx: Using a R800 head? R1800 head?

At some point around 3 years ago Epson started messing with the circuit boards on these heads. Unfortunately there is no small format DX5 head that will work properly out of the box on a large format printer. There are little decoders you can buy in China that work around the issue but I don't...
  18. SP540V Stair Stepping, Poor Color

The dreaded nickle and dime phase! If the sensor doesn't fix the issue, I would be very surprised. Other than the sensor and encoder being bad the only thing it could be is electrical and that will get expensive.
  19. Mimaki jv3-160sp error 30 on ink fill

Error 30 is a general operation error that could mean many things but in your case it most likely means that 1 or more of your cartridges are either empty or near empty. The machine will not fill if there is not enough ink in the cartridge and give error 30 to let you know something's up.
  20. dreaded banding

Bi-Directional alignment doesn't do anything for banding issues. If the banding is only happening in one color, it's most likely missing nozzles. How does your nozzle check look?
