Cutting your acrylic depends a lot on the size of your retainer. Let's say you have a 1.5" retainer top and bottom and the sign cabinet is 24" tall. That's 3" play. Cut your acrylic 23" and that should give you some play when sliding in.
I think they do call MDO crezone. I always thought that was the stuff they put on telephone poles years ago, but one of my suppliers called their MDO that last time I was there.
I had a large friend who was a great sign painter in the 60s. He was painting an address number above a door when the wooden ladder he was on broke, fell back hit his head on the sidewalk and died right there. No LilGiants at that time.
So maybe the 300+lbs remark is constructive criticism about...
I think a wire brush would work better than a sander. Or us OneShot paints and they will fade so fast it will look they were done in 1910.
As far as pricing: After you get your materials priced out it is based on labor. Just set an hourly rate on how long it takes and price accordenly...
Think that 3mm ACM is to thin would put on .25" thickness and put black vinyl on back if they are on both sides of posts, looks nicer that white on back. #2 panels $550.00 plus tax
