  1. Fire Truck Font

Thanks Gary, that's what I'm doing, fortunately it's a fairly simple font to replicate...
  2. Fire Truck Font

Hope this isn't another that I have to reproduce from scratch
  3. Fire Truck Font

Not sure, there's no badges in the photos I got.
  4. Fire Truck Font

Thought it was an LHF font but I don't see it...any suggestions? Thanks
  5. Large application Etch Vinyl

We do a fair amount of etched vinyl logos, lettering and the occasional striping but haven't done any large panels in a while. We usually use 3M. But I have a client wanting some doors and glass panels frosted and since materials change so much I'm wondering what the preferred brand/material is...
  6. ACM Panel for post and panel frames Which One?

Corrugated is more rigid but dings easier. If the only support is around the edge 6mm is a safer bet
  7. desktop signs

Yep, red pvc and bent in the shop. We used to do them quite a bit.
  8. Accidentally designing "offensive" logos...?

I haven't had that issue (yet) but when putting static cling sponsor decals on golf carts for a tournament for my biggest client I almost made a big error. The course's carts were fine, but the extras rented for the event had a manufacturers decal that I was partially covering. I forget just...
  9. Need Help Restoring Old Motel Signage

What the dinosaur said. Fun project.
  10. Need Advice on how to cut acrylic sheets with circular saw

Yep, definitely a fine tooth blade with lots of teeth, preferably one made for plastic. When I worked at one place we would have scrap insulation 2 or 3" foamboard to use as support while cutting. Helps to cut down the vibration/stress. Depending on the quality of the cut you need and your...
  11. Looking to buy a pylon sign build step by step tutorial...

If you have to access then something like Devon recommended with screws underneath and/or on top. And zooming in on that photo I see a screw in the reveal between the two panels and a black area that could be part of a fastening system.
  12. How to be profitable with eBay pricing?

 Why would you want to?
  13. Still doing some stuff 'Old School'

"first coat of White with a dash of Silver added" Wow, I hadn't thought of that trick in quite a while, used to know some guys who swore by it, I never really noticed an advantage, but did use it now and then.
  14. Free Equipment

I agree with both comments. It's worth it if you have or think you can create a market for indoor posters. There are lots of them around that you could pick up cheap/for nothing for parts. But if you're not into playing tech with it I wouldn't bother.
  15. Question Painting HDU

In that case you won't like my methods ;). There are many places that use all latex paints for HDU with good results. Go to your brand's website, they usually have lots of details.
  16. Still doing some stuff 'Old School'

Great classic look, nice brush work.
  17. Long Lasting Outdoor Fabric

Yep, awning material is the best bet.
