  1. What the F*()*#$ is wrong with my printer ???

BUMMER! I feel your pain. I'm not sure I have a lot to offer in the way of troubleshooting suggestions, but I had a few comments anyway. who did you buy it from? do they offer technical support? there's lots of great minds here... but it really helps to have authorized technicians...
  2. Buying A "real" Cutter

Had my CE 1000-60 going on 9 years. Never once had problems except ruined a teflon strip 8 years ago which was my own fault... and 2 years ago the front sensor needed replacing. 24" was good enough for my shop untill I got my 63" printer, but I got a 63" cutter then anyway. I still use the...

  6. Getting Ready to Step Up a Little

I think Roland is a good company and they make a good product. I think almost all the top name printers can do a better job then you even need. I think having good support is worth far more then the difference in value of the tops machines. I think you should make your printer purchase based...
  7. Getting Ready to Step Up a Little

just to clarify, I would never suggest not being able to cut your prints, I am just in favor of a seperate cutter. It's true, it does take up more floor space, but as noted above, it gives you print AND cut, rather then print OR cut... ...plus, on the comment "I think it's a pain to move the...
  8. Getting Ready to Step Up a Little

I bought a Mimaki because I don't think print and cut in the same machine is a good idea. In addition, I think it is a bad idea. As far as cost, I tricked myself into looking at smaller printers first, then once I had climitized myself to that amount of dept, I thought about all the 3' and 4'...
  9. How much for this machine?

If you want to find someone who knows something about it, put "Ledco Industrial Laminator" in the title of your post, instead of looking for the curious few to open your thread.... get to the point & someone who has one may spot it. Or, next year someone with one needing an important part may...

  15. Graphtec Contour Problem

OK... I get that it's still messed up, but "BOTH print and cuts are off" means what?? The cuts START OUT matching up with the prints (which are EVENLY spaced ...right?) ...and then, around the half way point, something shifts OUT of where it should be (NOT EVENLY SPACED) WHAT SHIFTS??? PRINT...

  18. Graphtec Contour Problem

oh.. I just caught that part. so if you measure the prints... the space between 4th and 5th, or 5th and 6th are NOT the same as the rest? Earlier I mentioned trouble shooting with various slight changes to the combination of commands & elements & methods. You really have to do this to solve...
  19. Graphtec Contour Problem

but if the 5th cut is 1/16th over, then the space is not the same there, right? and you HAVE sent the EXACT same "10 squares" cut file with out spacing irregularities?
