  3. fall-guy pictogram requested

Thanks Pro... I got as far as giving them enough info to spam me from multiple directions... but when they want my CC info in advance (for after my 14 days free  ) I decided to hold out for something else... but I do very much apprectiate your time & your suggestion.
  4. fall-guy pictogram requested

one of my good customers had an industrial accident occur at their facility today & I need to rush out some Slippery Floor type signs. I want to include a pictogram of a person in a mid falling pose. I've seen them, but I'm pressed for time trying to get ready to catch a plane tomorrow...
  5. Any Advice comments or direction

just replied to your email not knowing why you were referred to me... but I see you are in the islands ...and new in the islands. Now I get it. I had a guy in here today looking to get a wrap installed asap... on a van. He only needs the install, because he is a new franchisee & the 3m...

  7. Ebay think twice before buying LFP printers

I wouldn't hesitate to make ANY effort that might right a wrong, without any concern for the credit of a thief. I'd also correct the spelling of his name in your post, since you have 2 different names.
  8. Extreme Makeover - The Entries

I see some entries used the existing structure. If this job, & this budget were offered to me, I would reface the existing panels with .032 aluminum & cut or printed vinyl. If I didn't have to drive too far, it could be quite profitable by any standards, and include a few hours of design work as...
  9. Extreme Makeover - The Entries

I agree... the price point is one that we all weigh in on differently on this board... and in the final analysis... it's a judgement call... rather then a clear infraction. However, with the observation of the missing arrow... I think the integrity of this, & all future signs101 contests...
  10. Extreme Makeover - The Entries

I pretended the current leaders design has already been built, (within budget AND profitably) so I could snap this pic: - - - - - - - - - - - - guess I was wrong about the $100 worth of MDO :Big Laugh (no offense intended... once again, I concede that the current leader is one...
  11. Extreme Makeover - The Entries

When I mentioned that earlier I noted that while Fred originally said entries that did not comply with the rules would be disqualified... he later said: So I think it was up to us to judge with rules in mind. Personally I'm not seeing that, but that's just me... Maybe the leading entry is...
  12. Extreme Makeover - The Entries

It is part of the excercise Ken, and was discussed somewhat. I think Fred summed it up with this comment: I will add that I voted for one that I feel was designed with an affordable method of production. There are some really nice designs being voted on that I personally feel have...
  13. Extreme Makeover - The Entries

OK... ran through again... and ONE entry honestly makes me want to go in the store... even though it's 10,000 miles away.... that "emotion" certainly didn't come from the original sign, nor would I have expected to become curious of a store in another part of the world... but my vote is for the...
  14. Extreme Makeover - The Entries

great stuff... I narrowed it down to 2 choices in my first run-through... gotta go check the voting rules again... but I already know they are going to force me to pick one (unless I go create a new signs101 user name  )
  15. Extreme Makeover - The Contest!

easy cowboy... it's only 9:30 out here :Big Laugh
  16. Scrim Banner orange peal

usually it's the flat side. There is a little tooth to the print side, & some banner stock is reverse rolled, while some is not, so I would ask your supplier to be sure, because if it seems to work on both sides, it may not bond as well on the incorrect side.
  17. Extreme Makeover - The Contest!

I'm more like "hiding" around the bend with competition like those two

ditto Mark... use the poll button
  19. Help with Combine?? Effect

you don't want to settle for cutting a file that has cuts in there that don't belong in there. They will shrink & expose the color of the substrate, so it's a shortcut not worth taking. I've had vector files that were so complex to fix... but they displayed correctly on screen... that one...
  20. Any way to open Composer files in Illustrator CS?

Flexi or signlab will open them, but the remote desktop solution could be good too. Also there is a service through logmein.com that could help. I use both & they save me a little stair climbing, along with the Omega design station.
