Wont work. It has to much flexibility in the acrylic. Glass is more rigid and will hold up to the suction. Now if you are using a thick piece of acrylic (anything thicker than probably 1/2") then maybe.
Other things could also go wrong with a suction cup. If you put it over printed vinyl...
I started to get the blue screen of death after trying to system restore. My warranty ends on Dec 3rd. So hopefully it will get fixed before then.
I was able to get everything back as of 10pm last night off my external hard drive backup. Hopefully I can remember all the changes I had made and...
Was just working on a design that I have been going back and forth with my client and I go to save it and the laptop shuts down. Pissed me off but I just saved like 15 mins earlier. Not to big a deal right. I start the laptop back up and try and open the design.
It says the file is...
My aunt called me up and said she was going to get one for her craft stuff and asked if I would be able to show her how things work. I couldn't help myself and laughed at her. She does a lot of stuff that I end up having to cut little chit for her so in a way it would be nice to not have to do...
HAPPY THANKSGIVING everyone. On Monday my plan was not to work on wed or thurs and hopefully friday. Then I got a call about doing signs for a Turkey Trot Race on thursday and they want 32 Black coro sign with orange lettering. I had to order it and it wont be here until wednesday...
He just wants it to be different. In a way it would be cool to say i wrapped a Model T but then again. I am not so sure. If he really wants it done, I will probably do it since it is a kit car.
Most latex based paint takes at least 2 weeks to fully cure. In higher humidity areas it can take up up to 2 months depending on how many coats you use. I have done a lot of interior wall graphics for people. Like I said before, your wall prep is key to make an easier install. I have tried...
Nope. Not for me. I did that for about a year and paid about 15% more than if I had used a wholesaler. I would have them print my cards and they would send me banner work to do. Next thing you know they are doing banners and smaller signs and a lot of my customers started telling me the the...
That sucks somebody else snagged that idea. Maybe you should make it like an old gangster car. Have a guy hanging out the window with a tommy gun. On the back make it look like one side of the door is open with someone tied up inside.
I bet you will get noticed.
That is what I usually do. I wish I still had my circle cutter for it. It makes these so easy. Less work to get a good result. I just did a small test area with the router and another template I had. Going that route.
Thanks Jhill and Fred.
My bandsaw is down right now. I am afraid of using the jigsaw. I was going to try my hand router but since I dont have any room for error, I thought I would just ask.
I have cut a ton of acrylic in the past but not so much lately. I am trying to remember how the best way to cut a curve would be. Both ends have to be half circles. I used to have a circle cutter just for acrylic and lexan but I dont have it anymore. Is it best just to cut straight lines and...
I usually just come up with the ideas for friends and family and call them chicken chit when they dont do it. I usually never do it myself because I am always afraid of the backlash I may receive. In this case I was just in the right mood.
I have used gotprint and 4over. I have had some issues with gotprint but nothing as you had shown gg. I have had to many problems with 4over. My main problem was with re-ordered cards coming back with the colors being way off. I had cards that were chocolate brown background come back the...
