  1. Need Help

There was a sign business magazine article on this a year or so ago. Hold on I'll go get it, yes I know exactly where it is... Sorry it was two years ago and it was the Digital Graphics buyers guide August 2008. Well it doesn't show the manufacturer but it lists two companies that use them...
  2. Couple of helmets

Absolutely fantastic! Where on earth did you hide the seams. I've had a few requests for this but was scared to try.

  6. Print is unsticking...

Assuming you are doing a full bleed - That's most likely your problem. Haven't tried it myself but you might be able to use 3M primer... The easiest and fastest solution is to leave a 1/4" white outline around the print. Most vinyl suppliers recommend doing this.
  7. Error Message on Falcon Jr.

I had this problem in the past with my Falcon. Don't remember if it was the encoder strip (cleaning) or when the metal pulley on the Y-Axis motor came loose. Either way it's an easy fix. Before ordering a new motor take the right side cover off. While paying close attention the the shaft of the...
  8. Vehicle Wraps.. now Body Wraps ?

Sweet! Now I don't have to diet. Can I get arms and a chest too?
  9. Monitor Problems, Flexi

Did you install using the 'install as Windows XP' option or install directly to 7? Flexi 8.0 doesn't work well with 7 to my knowledge. I tried it with the release candidate trial version and didn't care for it. I went back to XP.
  10. Are you out of your mind....Part 3

Isn't that the truth. One of the reasons I switched to wholesale. Most of the folks I deal with now know what they want and how much it will cost. In the past if I realized i misquoted a price, I honored the price but I made sure it was noted on my invoice. I would list the original price...
  11. ValueJet ink with Falcon II Outdoor?

Thanks Randy! You saved me a wasted trip!
  12. ValueJet ink with Falcon II Outdoor?

Anyone know if I can use the Value Jet chipped ink in the Falcon II Outdoor. I'm in a bind and the only local supplier here has the VJ ink. I know the ink formulation (Eco Solvent) is the same but will the printer recognize a VJ chip?

  14. I need an extra media roll holder

I know this is going to be pretty much useless but there is a company that refurbishes Mutoh's and Agfa's in Florida. They had extra media holders for the 46" version. I found them on eBay while looking for other parts for my Falcon.
  15. I need Mutoh falcon outdoor jr ultra , computer driver

I don't think anyone really answered your questions completely so I will try. Ink feed is by vacuum not pressure. There is a pump connected to the capping station that pulls ink through for cleaning the heads and priming the lines. The dampers serve a few purposes. One, there is a very small...
  16. falcon outdoor ink fading

Is this all colors? Here's my two cents... When you change media are you changing the print profile in your rip software? I know using Flexi Production Manager each profile has different ink limits. This being said, With my Falcon Outdoor Oracal's 3651 profile calls for more ink with all...
  17. Skewing problem

Have you tried other media? I've had a similar problem with cheap vinyl. Roll out about 7-8 feet on a table, look to see if there are any obvious defects. Also look at each end of the roll and check if it is wavy or smooth, should be smooth. What is the media your using? Some stuff just can't be...
