Use a regular power cord like from a computer. The only difference is the original cord is about 10' long. 110/120v is what any of these printers sold in the USA needs.
Remove the tank and put it back in. There is a small switch under the tank that tells the printer you took it out. Make sure it comes up, the printer will say 'waste tank removed' and when you put the tank back in the printer will ask you if you changed it. Select 'yes'. All of this should be...
Yes I can see when help is offered. I see it in two places on the post. The rest is 'you can't afford it' or 'don't wast your time' all assumptions that without knowing the OP's background you can't answer. Though I agree most people in the sign industry wouldn't be able to afford what he/she is...
You paid for the second pump. He shouldn't have taken it. They can be rebuilt (tubing replaced) and that can help you out in a pinch when the current pump goes out. I'd call and ask for it back. It could save you hundreds.
This is the only bit of good information concerning the OP's question. How do any of you know what the OP's financial situation is to assume he/she can't afford it and/or how much time they may or may not want to waste tracking it down. Almost all of the responses were naysayers. Is this the...
What design software are you using. I've had some luck, though some don't like it due to it's limitations, with FlexiSign and it's production manager. If you are using AI or something similar you may want to use a stand alone rip.
Did you hang onto your old pump? It can be rebuilt with new...
I don't think is is legal. It's just that no one has called them out on it. As soon as one of these cars is in an accident or has special unwanted attention the companies will crack down on them. Advertising is expensive, this doesn't cost them a dime and they (company) have a legal out by...
Though a particular job doesn't come to mind I feel certain I've nested print and contour jobs together. As long as the media settings are the same you shouldn't have a problem.
Sounds like your pumps are not working, you are loosing the seal around the head, or a seal in the suction side is leaking . Easiest thing would be to replace the pumps since you have already replaced the maintenance station. They Mutoh pumps have a tendency to eat at the hoses going through...
Never had it come back as a failure but I stopped using it for other reasons. When contour cutting, the adhesive won't cut all the way. There were always little fingers of adhesive in the cut. Also try removing some of it. The vinyl will separate from the adhesive and leave you with a black...
With the exception of the bashing you for not knowing replies I see that you were able to get some good advice such as starting with local suppliers.
Sounds to me like your shop would do fine with a 54" printer that prints on vinyl and a matching (size) laminator. It is best to keep the...
