  1. Favorite masking tool?

Thanks fellas. (blushes) And a love seat is just a short couch.
  2. Granite look vinyl?

Avery (making evil eye) used to sell it, but I haven't had one of their color charts for ages. It may have been marble, come to think of it. They also had woodgrain. Love....Jill
  3. Favorite masking tool?

I saw the Rolls Roller at Sign UK. It's a bit rich for my blood but very nice. The guys made it look so easy too.
  4. Gerber GS15 Plus plotter problem

Glad the lube tip worked out for you. Nothing runs like a well-oiled machine!
  5. Favorite masking tool?

Thanks for all the tips. I definitely need something that holds the roll. I have used the "core" method on 14" tape before. I'm just glad nobody thought I was dumb for buying a new love seat. :)
  6. Favorite masking tool?

OK you knew it was coming. Upgraded to a 24" plotter and now I have to handle 24" app tape. I usually used my left arm like a spindle in the core of a 14" roll. I am not able to do this with the bigger stuff. What type of masking machine should I buy? I mean one that clamps onto a table...
  7. Gerber GS15 Plus plotter problem

Could it be your Theta belt? Have you blown the plotter out with canned air and oiled the metal rods lately? I just stopped using my 15" Gerber 4E on Monday. I bought a new 24" Graphtec for about $1800. Cannot believe I waited so long. If this is an option, I'd consider it. Love.....Jill
  8. Irritable, bitter and now nervous

I hope it all works out OK Steph. Just reading this makes me nervous. And I must add that Gino has beautiful teefs. Love....Jill
  9. Police Car Shield Emblems

There are very similar images in VectorArt Volume 2 Classic Collection by Ed Cole. I think Fred's site sells them. It would be a good start. http://www.allcompu.com/ http://www.vectorart.com/store/index.cfm?q=&a=Ed+Kole Love....Jill
  10. Hello from Sask.

Welcome from PA. You near the Bunnock? Love....Jill
  11. Weigh-Ins for the signs101 Losers (the good kind!)

Still holdin' at 148. Should probably not have had half a Primanti's or two beers at 9am on the South Side on Saturday!
  12. Thoughts on this???

Thank you tcorn. I should have known better than to cast pearls before swine. And Mosh, your callousness about your neighbor's suicide is far more disturbing than your stupidity about pricing, your cut-throat attitude toward your fellow sign makers, and your lack of design skill. No wonder...
  13. Wet Application on Glass

I try to do dry on glass but sometimes you just have to go wet. I prefer to use Rapid Tac 2 in this situation. I have never tried Window Juice but the one person whom I knew who did switched to RT2 after trying mine! Love....Jill
  14. Thoughts on this???

You must not have liked my first suggestion. Here's one more geared to a $250 budget.
  15. We can all screen print now!!!!!!

Marlene can I copyright "Love...Laugh...Puke"? That's priceless. Perfect for anything from a bar to a daycare. Love....Jill
  16. great advertising

So he went from using a bucket truck for signs to using it for trees? "Almost free"? :) Love....Jill
  17. Graphtec CE50060 Pros & Cons?

    The Graphtec 24" CE500060. I think I'm in love.
  18. Thoughts on this???

I think the font is dated but not in a historic way, I used that a lot doing hand rendered mock-ups in art school in 1980. You have stretched the name and the kerning is odd. If they are HDU why outline them? Everything is ran right out to the edges, there is no breathing room. The "The" has...
  19. Graphtec CE50060 Pros & Cons?

IT'S HERE!!!! It's installed. It's quiet. It's fricking FAST. Woo hoo!
  20. Graphtec CE50060 Pros & Cons?

I am the stoopidest computer person on the planet. I would be terrified to look crosswise at my old computer. It seems stable, but if I go messing with it it would die.
