    Had a similar decision to make last December... Went with the 540 and am so glad I did. 80% of my work prints larger than 36"... You'll just end up going 54" in the near future, so why not just take the leap right now. If your tests work out and the printer is in good condition, then go for it...

    I thought of that also... Customer needs files back as individual TIFF files named the same as the PDF's. I've found a few "converters", but they are very poor and crash if I try to process more than 10 or so at once... :frustrated:

  19. Printing on magnetic material with a xc540

    I've had no luck printing on magnets on my 540... similar results that you are experiencing. I made life easier for myself now and simply print on vinyl and use the Big Squeegee to mount onto magnetic. Works like a charm. I charge more and go home frustration free at the end of the day!
