Have you checked to make sure the leading edge of the vinyl is cut square? If you are aligning the sides and the leading edge and they are not cut square and off a little bit it is going to get worse(sp) as the media length get longer!
If you are using X3 use the smart fill to create the new shape(s) for the inside and either group or select all then use power slip! Also under tools>workspace>Edit uncheck center power clip objects!

1st off if you are going to be doing vehicle wraps you are going to need to laminate the vinyl for two reasons! first durability second for removal purposes!
I think your boss is putting the cart in front of the horse! You are going to need to know if you can operate a gasoline or diesel engine indoors or are you going to need propane or electric! This is why you need to talk to the rink owner/manager!
