SAS what you need to determine is the current draw for your printer with the heaters turned all the way up and if you have a take up system a full roll of the heaviest material you use! As Jamie pointed out I posted about the load calculation on this a week or so ago!

Go into device manager and see what the port was assigned when your adapter was installed!
