  1. JV33 intermittent cleaning

The auto clean in the setup menu is for while it is printing only. You want to go into Function>Maintenance>Sleep Setup>Cleaning
  2. JFX200-2513 Problem

So the head moves further and further to the side, prints in the correct spot but eventually hits the side of the printer? If that's the case, you might need to have someone come out there and check it out. That's a very rare issue and could be caused by a lot of things. I would update the...
  3. Tiny jaggies when doing ConTour cutting on a Roland SP-540V?

Your blade holder may be wearing out and/or the cut protection strip is slightly grooved which will cause the blade to bounce around slightly. Take the blade out and look for any vinyl pieces that may have gotten stuck between the blade and the holder as well.
  4. JFX200-2513 Problem

Not sure what that means. Can you be more specific?
  5. Sudden drop in Magenta ink

No problem! The sensor is very sensitive so you probably just grazed it when putting the cartridge in. Luckily, your model doesn't keep track of empty cartridges on the ink chip or in the printer memory.
  6. Sudden drop in Magenta ink

Either you tripped the ink end sensor accidentally or it is broken. Depending on how old the model of the machine is, you should be able to just pull the cartridge out and reinstall. If that doesn't work, you either have a newer model that doesn't reset when the ink cartridge is reinstalled or...
  7. Mimaki jfx200 sleep error

Without an error code it is impossible to know what is going on. Next time it happens take your time and get the error message. The heads won't fry from sitting there exposed for a little bit. It most likely is a sub tank error or something along those lines.
  8. When Versacamm prints come out to dark...

It probably has something to do with the color settings of the original file. RGB tends to print out darker because the way the profile handles RBG usually lays down more ink in my experience. The fact that draft mode prints better makes sense because it uses less ink which would lighten up the...
  9. 1624 print head replacement

1st and most importantly, turn the machine off, unplug it, push the power button a few times and wait about 10 minutes before working on the machine to avoid damage to the main board. 2nd Before turning power back on, double check all of your cables and make sure they are set properly. A lot of...
  10. What to Buy? What to Buy? Need advice and wisdom!

My customers aren't using that feature but I have seen some done in demo shows. Unfortunately I don't use these machines like you guys do so i'm not sure exactly what a good raised print looks and feels like but the ones i have seen off the JFX200 are pretty cool. Since I haven't seen enough of...
  11. What to Buy? What to Buy? Need advice and wisdom!

It sounds like the Mimaki JFX200 is right up your alley. 1. Quality - The JFX200 print quality is on par or better than most flatbed printers I have seen in the field. It creates nice sharp prints and very smooth solid colors. My customers are loving it. 2. White and Clear ink - They are...
  12. O'rings

The o-ring between the ink line and damper nut is 2mm OD.
  13. Please help vj1204 new head verticle lines

Normally I would lean towards a dirty or damaged encoder strip but the pattern doesn't match a typical encoder issue. There is a possibility that you have an electrical issue with the cables and/or head but I think the real problem is that the head is not meant for that machine. There are about...
  14. Flexi Cloud Edition on Windows 10 Home Edition

Mine was a Mutoh specific version so that might have had something to do with it. Also, maybe the home and pro version of windows 10 treats the software differently in some way.
  15. Flexi Cloud Edition on Windows 10 Home Edition

I just installed Flexi on a customer's Windows 10 computer and I had to make it run in compatibility mode for Windows XP Service Pack 3 and as the administrator. It worked fine after that.
  16. warm room and solvent printer

You shouldn't have a problem with the ink clogging or anything. The main concern is that storing the ink cartridges at high temperatures for an extended amount of time could cause them to burst. It's rare but more common in hotter settings. The heat will also affect how well the print head fires...
  17. CJV30-60 Special version of the firmware

Send me a PM and I'll send the firmware and tool over. You won't get much of a change from 3.10 to 3.30 which is the latest version but if you want to be up to date it can't hurt. If you are using after market inks, it may mess up the chips though.
  18. JV3 Mobo question

One cheap fix you could try before the main board is to change the encoder sensor out. It seems to be more susceptible to power surges and it can cause the issues you are having. The JV3 is one of the only machines that will continue to run without an error message with a bad encoder sensor.
  19. Flexi Sign & Print Mutoh Edition - No cutter support other than Graphtec?

The Mutoh Edition only works with Mutoh or Graphtec cutters because at one point Mutoh and Graphtec partnered up but now they are not. They keep the Graphtec cutter drivers in the software just in case someone still has a Graphtec they bought with their Mutoh. So you will have to upgrade to be...
  20. Drop Position Correction Confusion

They are just the smallest amount you can adjust the alignment. A .1 change is almost indistinguishable. Generally, if I see that number 3 and number 4 look perfect, I will set it at 3.5 to split the difference. The same goes for if two lines that are close but one is slightly off to the left...
