Well Mentor, you've asked me two questions, but I was too busy listening to answer. However, I had some free time so here goes.....
For a sign maker, in any conversation, it is difficult to give the other person 100% of your attention.
Do you agree?
Of course not. It's never difficult to...
Politicians, parents, children, people at the bar, people at a ball game or any other sports event, geese, chess match, work, wives and husbands, 47 different gender groups and too many others to mention.
Well, it pays to listen, as you are bringing to the table, but somewhere you thought I said you are hiding something. Not so.
Anyway, I'm still gonna listen for a while.
I'm still listeing, but I like to talk with people in person, when I'm interested I get more from eye contact, body English and conversation.
We'll see how this goes.
Just be prepared, the s101 police are still on duty
Some places yes and some, no.
First, if you're gonna use acrylic, have your distributor cut it. It's not fun to cut and you're gonna get a whole slew of ways to do it. Poly is a cinch to cut. Just ordered a full sheet this morning for a guy. That's how I knew the guy was wrong about the...
No, you look. We're all trying to comfort you and we all feel bad for you, but sometimes the best laid plans are not always gonna work, such as in your case. You keep saying they were nice people.... evidently they are not good people, if they outright lied to you.
Your biggest thing you need...
You seem to be committed to finding someone who will go against company policy(s). I highly doubt you are the first person this has happened to or will be the last, but you are the reason..... or kinda reason, they cannot step up. There is too much splitting of hairs over, he said, she said...
Yikes, I did not see that disconnect. Blended in too well on my screen. As for the wiring, she just has to put an .040 cover over that, if they'd get picky. But as you said, it should be hidden. Good eye.
As for your piece which is a true 48" x 96", it must be 40 years old, but I don't...
Ahhh....... no they don't. They don't make a true 48" x 96" as you indicated. It is 52" x 100" It's always been oversized, unless you're buying off the roll.
Yeah, really. You tried a wholesaler and a supplier. Do you want blanks, as you requested, or someone printing on them for you ?? If you didn't hide your profile, we could be of better help. Why do you block your profile ??
I would suggest googling opaque coraplast.
Why do you need...
There's a plethora of places. Would you mind telling us the places you've tried so far ??
It's hard giving out information to someone who blocks their profile page.... anyway, it is for me.
Good luck with your class action case. If you think Roland is lowlife and took your money, wait til you hire a lawyer. I still don't understand how someone lost $750k on a $90k printer in this short amount of time ?? If the orders were not in your hands as actual jobs, you did not lose a...
I don't understand why, if the demo model didn't meet your demands, why in the heck did you accept the leased unit ??
When you tested the machine for speed with your files when looking into this, was it what you wanted ?? You would've had to be seeing the machine you borrowed. Don't tell me...
As mentioned, these conversations need to take place before the job is sent out and produced. We call it, educating the customer. This means, explaining color shifts, fuzzy pictures and distortions if a job is too small to begin with. Just sending their files to a printer is hard to explain...
Usually a face is already there, so you can measure it, but when the face is gone.....an old trick is to take a long piece of .177 or 3/16" acrylic maybe 2 inches wide by say 4' or so and place it fully up against one end. Mark the cabinet exactly where it stops and go to the other end and mark...
