We do lots of local rural fire depts. They usually get used trucks from bigger towns. I tell them to have the old letering removed and I come in with refelctive or sign-gold. Not much real leafing, as they are most of the time, on a shoe-string budget.

Charge on how much material you use. That would be the idea. Like if you do 10,000 decals that .1 of an inch between decals is going to add up real kwik....not to mention the 1" you lose on the top and bottom.

Yes, I go into versa and see how much it will take and charge that much. I have done that 1,000 times so I already know how much it will be. We charge for the material used, not just the size of the decal.

Versa works GREAT for basic sign printing. NOT so great on making color true prints. It is what it is.

Most of the time I send stuff from corel to versa via eps file. Some photos work better as a tiif and some better as a pdf. Depends on the print how we send it.
