We have used signlab since 1992 or so and NEVER print from it. It is a cutting based program, IMO they have dropped the ball on being able to print. We design stuff to be printed in Corel, for the most part, and RIP with Versa.

Exactly! Less people, less to worry about! I made ALOT more money with more "employees" but there were so many more things to worry about. (INS, ect..) You need to decide if you want to make signs or manage morons....eerr employees. I would rather make signs anyday than have to worry about...

I used to spend thousands on desktops. Now I go to Wal-Mart every six months and just get a new one for $700. They run Corel and versaworks as fast as I need. Don't be fooled by computer geeks, save your cash for important stuff, like ammo and beer.

Use LOTS of weld, those are pretty big to be held on with trim.

At one time I had 11 employees, I am down to me and LOVE EVERY MINUTE! I turn down stuff I can't get done, pick and choose jobs. Don't be scared to turn work away, and just make more on the stuff you do decide to do.

I have a 24x36 copy of this, I use a pointer stick to go over pricing with customers now!

I use it on "bread and butter" basic knock out stuff. It works well for that, anything too custom I price time+materials+beer money.

The music in that install video RULES! Almost as good as the Big Squeegie DVD!
