    Anodized Aluminum holds up very well outside, but mill finish aluminum has to have a good two part clear coat to protect it, if not it will start to show oxidation fairly quickly in harsh environments. Mill finish has to be prepared right before clears are applied to get the protection needed

    I do not get that involved with the labels, after I take it off the roll I put on top of printer. Just take a 4"wide by 12" with a strip of masking tape and write what it is on paper. I keep the plastic sleeve that comes with the roll over it. So I just pull it out and read what it says. Sorry...

    If this is a Mutoh 1204 with ecosolvent ink I do not think water is what you want to pour down there, use either cleaning fluid or isopropyl alcohol water is going to cause you more problems, they are not water based inks in that machine.

    Well, chalk it up as having a bad day and not letting it happen again, #30 foamcore signs is a lot of work to redo. Everyone of us has been in your shoes about redoing something when the customer complains. Just try not to let it happen again, there goes the profit.
