  1. pizza in pittsburgh

You shoulda got the capicola & cheese. I think the cheese steak is way too greasy. The slaw is the best part! http://www.primantibros.com/menu/city/strip/ This Strip has the best Primanti's in my experience.
  2. Graphtec CE50060 Pros & Cons?

OK I am down to the nitty-gritty. Looking at a 24" Graphtec for cuttin dat demon vynull. I want a 24" because of size reasons (limited space and I am short and old and don't want to heft huge rolls of material) I don't mind a 15" cutter so 24" will be fine. I want to cut cast, calendered...
  3. pizza in pittsburgh

Milano's. There's one in Allison Park, I think another in Oakland. When I was a kid and you called for delivery the same crabby guy said "Milanopizzawhaddayawant?" when he answered the phone. You can even get good pizza from the Vocelli's chain. As long as you can stand their muzak in the...
  4. business card layout

Brian you are getting some good suggestions. As always, I would say keep it simple. No pix of furnaces, no blowhard clouds, etc. :) The red white and blue color combos always go over big in the Burgh. Love....Jill
  5. Windows....Cal vs. Cast

I usually do use Oracal 651 on windows. It's thicker and easier for me to apply dry. Now if I was backing SignGold on glass I would definitely use cast. Love....Jill
  6. 4' x 10' Banner

Here's a real quick suggestion, not kerned or anything. You need to have some visual interest rather than just a bunch of typed words. Adding a panel can help, and varying up the fonts just a little bit. Next time ask us, we all have an opinion and most of us like to help. If you want to see...

  11. Pa'ers

Boat and DOT #s are 3". I have been making the contractor's numbers a lot smaller tho, like 1". Not sure of the regulations on those. And sometimes people will request the DOTs to be smaller, but that is risky. Love....Jill
  12. Plotter suggestions?

Bumping this again. I have about $1200 to spend (I think) I need something that will work on a Windows XP machine. I'd like a 24". I will save my nearly dead 4E for pounce patterns but I have had it up to here with this plotter.
  13. 1-Shot micro bubbles

If you put 1S on too thick it can wrinkle.
  14. Ever have one of those moments....

What about when you are in bed with someone after an evening of dinner and margaritas and feel that distant rumbling, and it's not thunder, and the bedroom is right beside the bathroom? How romantic! Love....Jill
  15. A good way to get a customer to call is:

...pour milk on a bowl of dry cereal
  16. Tee shirt artwork

I like the typeface, it's campy and reminds me of Rocky Horror. Love....Jill
  17. 1-Shot micro bubbles

I would not spray it with lacquer thinner for fear of it getting thru to the SignFoam and damaging it. I hate making SignFoam signs, but never had the issue you described. I just used regular Kilz or Zinsser primer tho. I wonder if you would be better off using a good latex house paint as a top...
  18. A good way to get a customer to call is:

Heat up lunch in the microwave!
  19. Off Topic friend moving to puscataune, PA

I think it was just more convenient to film there than in Punxsy. Punxsutawney is a very quaint little town. (I love that movie)
