I'm looking for a supplier for brushed aluminum laminate we can mount to a thicker substrate like acrylic, pvc or foam board. Just a cheaper solution than 1/4" solid aluminum.

General Formulations or we've had some luck with Arlon DPF8000. The problem with the thicker stuff is cutting it. Really hard unless you have a flatbed cutter. We've had some luck putting our Summa between two work tables and letting the material slide between the tables.
Yes, just get some aftermarket chips. They come out of England, I believe. Their cheap, so buy extras! Takes a couple of weeks to get though. Kind of pisses one off don't it!
I found an outfit in China that is selling them for around $2200. Plan on ordering tomorrow. I opted to pay with PayPal which cost a little more, but I wanted some protection just in case! Beats the crap out of $3750!

We need to mount a 4x8 dibond sign to a stucco building. I can tell its stucco over foam. Never done this before and don't want to screw it up! Anyway to check for studs? Any special fasteners?
