Cover your butt on State Farm! They are really particular on their signs! Everything and I mean everything has to be perfect! We won't even mess with them anymore because of all the hassle! If you do, get your money upfront, cause if its not perfect, they won't approve it.
We double checked with the architect and he gave us his blessing. The higher ups over rode him. Their paying me to go back and change them out, I just don't want to damage these expensive doors! Thanks for your help!
Here's what they look like. I just got some 30# fishing line and some nylon emblem removal tools. This place is 50 miles from nowhere so extra trips to the hardware store aren't an option! Just need lots of ideas so I can take them with me! Thanks everyone!
Anyone have any tips or tricks for removing sign panels that have been stuck down with VHB?
We just installed some high end zinc etched signs on some really expensive doors and they decided they want them mounted to the wall next to the doors. Whats the best way to get these off without...
I know FASTSIGNS is changing over to it. Must not be to bad! Looks like a somewhat steep learning curve, but it does a lot of cool things.
We're currently using Cyrious and am holding off till the end as our works and is paid for!
Gino, I think people really see you for who YOU are. I will be deleting this post as soon as I figure out how to. I sent a message to Signs101 to show me how or do it for me. You win tough guy! Nice name calling btw, you're really mature aren't you!
Gino,
I'm sorry but your going to have to do better than this.;) I would have thought Signarama would have been better.
If we get some entries, great, if not, we'll show you what we come up with and you guys can tell us your thoughts.
As far as taking someones elses design and calling it...
You guys crack me up! Talking about free time! WTF are you doing on Signs 101 on a Sunday! Should be out golfing, fishing, sleeping in! I thought I was bad! Please don't turn this into a pissin match, I'm just throwing this out there. I know at one point in my new business, I would have...
Well for starters, it's a contest, if you don't want to participate so be it, but somebody is going to win up to $1600 worth of stuff from 3M. We are more than capable of designing a wrap, but there's a lot of talent out there that I'm sure could do better. I don't want this to be the average...
Well so far we have hardly used either one. Have definitely used clear way more than primer. We just need to learn more about using clear. I wouldn't waste your time on primer at this point.
Look at my bucket truck! I can't wait to wrap it! Do you like it? Let's see your bucket truck!
It has a 6.0 liter diesel in it and it sometimes smokes, but we're getting that fixed.
I got my JFX200 used and when they set it up they used all new inks. Needless to say when I went to use up some of the old ink, it wouldn't let me. Had some chips made and now we we're able to use up the rest of the ink! I think once your up and running I don't ever see a problem not using...
If you get one of these machines, definitely get white! We do a lot of acrylic prints and they're beautiful! Only problem was a head strike on the media locating screws. Over $5,000 to fix! Not sure if this is an inherent
problem or my safety bars not being adjusted right.
