I ran into a guy just a little bit ago applying some printed vinyl onto a box truck. I stopped and talked to him for a second since I have never seen him before and because I was in my wifes car. She doesnt allow me to have the business stuff on it. The vinyl seemed a little flimsy and didnt...
I am their "in house graphics guy" according to them at least. I have a contract with them and they want to make it seem that everything done on the trailers is done by them and not anyone else. If they want to trade me a trailer for every fifth trailer we do, I could probably do that. We...
Just picked it up this morning. I realized after getting it home. Now I need a bigger truck. My 77 chevy truck or my Durango are not going to be able to handle this thing loaded. Now I just have to find a way to convince the boss (my wife) that I need a new truck.
I have a client who sells trailers and campers and we do the graphics for them. When you buy a trailer you can choose 1 of the 5 designs to put on the sides and back. If they want a custom design then we do this but the buyer foots the bill. Anyways, today we finished 3 trailers with one...
When you are not use to that high of a temp, its hot. Phoenix has weeks where it is above 110. In mohave valley we have had days where the low doesnt go below 100. 124 days and 101 nights. got to love the desert.
Supposed to be Dive In. It works for them.
Not sure what I your talking about. I think the I in pit. I had it originally with the top and bottom crossed but they didnt like it when I did their logo a couple years ago.
Thanks guys. This is what I just showed them. They really love it. We are going to add some more descriptive wording in some areas. Under the map on the outside of the menu. We are going to put some pix of their shirts and hats they have for sale. At least that is the plan. They will have...
What is your dpi set at. We design our banners at a dpi of 150. Pretty much all of our large format is at 150. Smaller things like biz cards and those are done at 350.
Thanks for all the advice. I have attached a new version of their to go menu. Just the inside part. I am going to meet with them later today to see if they like the direction I am going with it. Looks much cleaner but I am not sure if it looks to fancy for a Redneck BBQ place. I decided to go...
The menu's are for the take out orders and to be given out to business to keep in the office. I have actually talked them into re-designing their menu board as well. I pointed out some things to them and they seem to like the idea of changing it to make it better. I just hope I can talk them...
Thanks for the advice guys. I have some different ideas I am going to present to the client this morning. I was up forever reading more about menus and found an article about neuromarketing with restaurants. Some of the biggest changes they make to peoples menu is taking away the $ sign and...
Thanks guys.
I agree it is chaotic. But they want the menu to match somewhat of their menu board. I didnt do that part. I will take your advice and do a google search for menu boards. Maybe I can talk them into redoing their menu board as well.
If you do not have a license agreement with the NFL you may not use a teams logo in any merchandise to be sold. Same goes with MLB. Just because you are paying to have an ad in a publication being distributed and games, it still doesnt mean you have the rights to use terms like World Series or...
Hi guys,
I was hoping to get some feedback on this menu I am putting together for my client. I have a tendency to over add things when I get to the end of a design and layout. I have intended to make the menu look like their menu up on the wall.
Any input would be appreciated.
Hello, I have been in and out of the business a couple times in the last 16 years. I have always been doing graphics and layouts for business but got away from the signs after school. I bought my first cutter my junior year of high school in 94 and started making stickers for friends and...
