do it all the time with my laminator. just make sure your panel doesn't have any jagged edges that will damage the rollers and you're set.
i've been known to add guiderails to my laminator for my longer runs, for piece of mind and easy loading.
applicationwise, checkout youtube videos for...
fullscreen, screen-shot, enlarge in photoshop, print.
...or reinsert enlarged photo back into illustrator to layer the vectored spot colors prior to print.
if you're recovering nozzles after strong cleanings/fillupink... then you've more than likely got an airbubble in the head itself, ideally... you're just vapor-lock'd which might clear up on its own by cleaning/cycling the ink or might be a sign of a broken manifold letting the air in and...
if swapping damper locations resulted in same issue, i'd say you cracked the manifold (black nipple that bridges connection between printhead and damper)
last test to confirm, i'd say do a 99min nozzle wash followed by a fillupink, and see if the testprint improves.
too much tension on the laminate feed-roller?
my best guess, would be the laminate was stretched prior to bonding with the print and is trying to shrink back, taking your print with it.

spend a couple more bucks and get something more durable:
these are also...
people want quick quotes.... so $15 psf is an easy # to give, and also add that you'll work with them on the pricing, as you can get them closer to $12 when it's all said and done.
no issues, as of yet, but I have been applying the 6000xrp, for nearly the past year, without issue. I have yet to remove anything that has been up longer than 6months, but peels just fine as far as I can tell.
I get that with every roll of MacTac... first 4-6 feet is crap, but I still like the price so I just burn it right off the bat.
3M, on the other hand, should not be giving you those issues. I'd demand refund for Xamount of material/time wasted. Especially with their high prices.
Can't let...
just printed on some clear Oracal calendared matte, and laminated with Arlon calendared suede. both overlams.
cost of materials: the time it took for me to NOT throw them away a few weeks back, when cut off other short runs. my friends love my freebies, and I love free beer.
