  1. Wrapping A Brick Wall

http://www.alumigraphics.com/cart/pc/home.asp This product I think would work very well, probably worth requesting a sample. The material cost is highish (on the order of reflective vinyl) but a huge advantage is the ability to remove it (& recycle!) and still have the bare brick. While I love...
  2. Blackout/Double sided banner

Agreed. We also only use Koma, keeps things simple, and the cost is not a factor since we don't do mass produced $2/sq ft banners. I love the fact that it just plain doesn't curl, even with a freshed printed and trimmed dark color bleed. This was the biggest reason we decided to stick with it...
  3. A tip to remember...................................

2015 Ford pickups now have aluminum panels instead of steel. I'm sure we will run into this issue even more than we did with the Saturns/Corvettes/etc...
  4. what is that font in Sign Craft?

FHA Eccentric French One of my most favorite-but-hard-to-use styles.
  5. Font Assistance

Or something in the Century family
  6. Need to recreate this in a high resolution version

We use PhotoZoom almost daily here, well worth the cost (though we even got it 50% off) Used frequently on sponsor signs where no one will take the time to find you hi res logos, but I still don't want to churn out crap. Frequently I can PZ a low-res logo, and make it plenty good enough for...
  7. Printing Consistant Lighter Bands

I had a print issue last week that looked just the same. Turned out it was because I decided to remove all the pinch rollers except the outer 2 AND loaded a full 54" x 50yd roll of vinyl. The 2 rollers were not enough pulling strength on the full roll.
  8. It's not banding... but what is it?

What quality mode? try turning your heat down a little or up a little.
  9. 3m Bright Orange..... I despise you

What he said. Look for the Gerber 220 series #14 is Bright Orange and will match the one from 3M 7125. I keep some on hand and can send it to you if you run out of luck. Though it may take a week to get there. $20 would probably cover 15" x 7ft + UPS ground.
  10. Help need please

no match here. If you do not need to set new type with it, I would just send it to the Vector Doctor for tracing.
  11. Help with a font

Also my thought, or was closed on purpose to make the "logo"
  12. Help with a font

    Some form of Palatino
  13. placing window decals on the inside to show out, what is needed?

This is the usual way. Be aware, however, that many people (at least my customers....) find the white showing on the inside to be unacceptable. They want the coloring of the image/logo to show on the inside (even though it is reversed) Customer education goes a long way here.
  14. Font ID for Red Cross please

Close to Grotesque Display MT BoldCond (Regular), might be close enough.
  15. Best adhesive remover

THIS. It's nearly the only thing that we have used in our shop for adhesive removing for at least 12 years. Only once did I ever encounter something that needed something stronger. It's manufacturer Max Professional has also come out with a stronger "industrial" version that I have yet to test.
  16. You guys are much better at this than I am

    Neutra Text (Bold SC)
  17. USB for HS15 Plus??

Yes, we have one to go with our HS15 plus, Gerber part number is: P83305A
  18. This please

    VOL Regular with some modifications...
  19. How do I duplicate text size & layout from a picture using Coreldraw x4

In order to be more accurate than a photo, I would make a pencil rubbing pattern of the letters/layout and scan it. However if you don't have a wide format scanner this wouldn't be an easy solution. IF you do take a photo, take it as straight on as possible, and stand as far back as you can...
  20. What would you charge?

About $785 for the face and $150 for install. If access requires a bucket truck then at least $250 for install.
