  1. Anyone else disturbed..

He is known to have the blood of hundreds upon hundreds of Americans on his hands, plus many others. Mostly over there, but Americans nonetheless. He was a killer and not well liked over there, by his own people. It's all a political thing and as long as it's kept political, it's fine by me...
  2. Anyone else disturbed..

Play with fire...... ya get burned. No one and I mean NO ONE knows what any of those people are thinking let alone whose side they're on..... any given week. The only reason any American would be upset is because he is soft-spoken and doesn't appear to be violent. BullSh!t.
  3. For Sale FSC - Fletcher Substrate Cutter - FREE S&H

Looks like it has a laser eye on it, also. Great great tool. We've had ours for about 15 years. :thumb:
  4. Question How to max out opacity on a UV cure flatbed printer.

White makes the best sense. All inks are transparent, regardless of how many layers ya put down. White is generally somewhat opaque, so a coat or two of that with black on top should do it. If not, get out the old squeegee and screen print it.
  5. Gemini Plaque Pricing

According to your update, evidently..... not.
  6. Eagle Scout Project - Sign in Mojave Desert

That's a shame. A shame that he must use materials known before making the sign and investing any further money or time on said sign will delaminate, and fall apart far too soon for a project that could easily last 10 or 15 years..... using the proper materials. Being a scout, he might have...
  7. Desktop label maker for banners

So, you're looking more for a template/pattern maker ?? Do you have any plotting/cutting equipment at all ?? Or even a printer of some sorts ??
  8. Is mobile sign service a good investment?

I don't think anyone here can tell you or even firmly suggest to you what to do with your money. That decision is entirely up to you, your family, your ability and your goals as mentioned. All we can do is give you either first or second hand experiences of what we all have. Each and every...
  9. Excellent Folding Table For Shop

Hahahaaaa..... yeah, everybody but the bridge on your nose or forehead. :banghead:
  10. Excellent Folding Table For Shop

Ya sure lose a lotta lotta wall space by hanging a table on a wall. Clever idea, but not very practicable in a workshop. Hate to see that 2 x 4 fall down in your face when ya first open it up.
  11. Eagle Scout Project - Sign in Mojave Desert

I would sooner be leery of wooden signs in the desert taking abuse from erosion from dust storms than the problems of rotting and whatnot. I think a sign made of metal, like steel or stainless, would be a much better idea. The temps, high sun and sandblasting like condition exposure will most...
  12. van lettering should i go with the molding line or use a level?

I've always been big into vehicle lettering of all kinds for over 40 years. Never had a complaint, so-to-speak. So, back in about 1986, had a company ask me to do 3 of their vans. I was doing their sign work for about 2 or 3 years already, but they got a new designer who insisted on laying...
  13. van lettering should i go with the molding line or use a level?

But if we buy Greenland, everything will even itself out again and we'll still be all over the place.
  14. Is mobile sign service a good investment?

I've heard of people doing it, but no one seems to do well at it. Sure, once in a while, you'll hear of someone making a killing, but figure in the overhead, weather patterns and having to have everything in stock. .... hardly seems worth it. Going to a race track every week or some flea...
  15. van lettering should i go with the molding line or use a level?

I don't see that tool as an accurate means. Whatever surface that vehicle is on is held to different standards. Say for instance, most vehicles today have very few horizontal one can rely on. Therefore, if your installer has a slightly slanted floor from which he is working, throwing off his...
  16. van lettering should i go with the molding line or use a level?

So, if you use a level, are you sure the tires are properly inflated ?? How 'bout the suspension ?? What happens when the plumber outfits his cargo area ?? From the time I started lettering vehicles, I always used straight natural lines of the vehicle, itself. Anything else can backfire of...
  17. Some handlettered work

Don't know about the OP, but since I was about 4 years old, I always got a Dale Carnage drawing set for Christmas. The sun was always in the upper right, so by repeated reinforcement, I always shade to lower left.
  18. Merry Christmas

As with Snoopy & The Red Baron........ Merry Christmas miene friend !!! :toasting:
  19. What services do you offer with your gerber edge?

Make a few really nice samples and advertise them. Just DON'T copy someone else's work and display that. No one cares how you identify as a business, other than what do you offer. Just make a "splash" announcing these new items.
