3M 7725SE is all I use. Both dusted crystal and frosted crystal. Even though dusted crystal looks more like true "etched glass", everyone seems to prefer frosted crystal as it has a LOT more sparkle to it. Both cast materials, cut/weeds great, and wet applies really well.

i don't bother using 290 as a lam for 180, but who knows... it might work. Although I can get 8519 overlam cheaper than 290, so I guess it would defeat the purpose. I HAVE laminated 3551RA with 8519, however.
