  3. Ugh, I'm an idiot. Customer troubles!

#1 you need a deposit before you even turn on your computer. 50% down at the very least #2 if you don't have them yet, get yourself some 2-part proposal sheets stating your policy (I do two sketches, after that it's $75/sketch) There should be a line on them for your signature and date, and the...
  4. Hi there from Alberta Canada :)

Hello from PA, I have been to your fair city many times. It's quite flat up that way. But the coffee's good. Sounds like you'll fit right in. Love....Jill

It reminded me of LeGriffe. Also of Mike Steven's one font, Master. Until Shovelhead comes back, you may be SOL. Love.....Jill
  6. I need help!

We're not bitter, we're just sick of mom's with plotter's thinking it is as easy to make sign's as it is to bake cookie's. Or of anyone who thinks you can just buy a sign career for $1000. I hope you are not teaching your son's to pick up their puck's and move on if they don't like what the...

  8. I need help!

OK, looks like you're serious....to a point. Lose this mindset. Never give your work away just to get your name out, you will become the town cheapie and only get bottom-feeder jobs. Buy this book: http://www.amazon.com/Mastering-Layout-Art-Eye-Appeal/dp/091138068X There is more to...
  9. Clip Art

I would make "New" in the same font as "Wave". That script looks weak to me. I don't care for the font used in "Asphalt Sealing" either. I'd lose the squiggle, move the guy up a tad, and make a black panel attached to the squeegie thingie, then put "Asphalt Sealing" in white inside of it...
  10. Font request for numbers

It also looks as if the client has been shopping online and that sample is clipped from the website they were looking at. I'm with Fenris, I thought "athletic" but it doesn't match with Princeton or any of my block styles, even if I skew the bejeezus out of them. Love....Jill

I have to do that a few times a year! I hate giving out my SS#. Love....Jill
  14. Font help

This is an oddball. I was sure the "apke" was Samster Script from LHF but it's not. Love....Jill
  15. Manual Cut Order - Is It Possible?

Does Flexi have a "sequence plot" option like Omega? It's in the output selected toolbox, under "layout" -for lack of a better explanation. Love....Jill

Reminds me of Tekton: http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/adobe/tekton/ Check out Stevo's member galleries, I think he used this on his sister's bizcard. How have you been? Long time no see. Love....Jill
  18. Font ID, Please!

  19. Alumalite 2'x14'

    Alumalite 2'x14'

All hand-painted. Also did the awning layout but not the awning. I did, however, stand on a ladder to paint in the pink "i" dot.
