  1. Painting or graphics on Aspahlt

Painting asphalt with stencils and traffic paint is not rocket science, it's not even servicing an electric sign. I have clients that have material yards just like this and they do it themselves with the stencils we provide. Mistakes are easily fixed with black paint. There are lots of places...
  2. Painting or graphics on Aspahlt

Stencils with a cheap traffic spray paint set up. Then they can redo them as needed.

    Did you try Outwater Plastics?
  4. Where can I find this

So where did they get it before?
  5. Fog Juice?

We use Frog Juice on all our Gerber Edge printed vinyl. It "pops" the color, adds a bit of gloss and protects from fading. We use both brush and spray, depends on the size of the graphic. Brushing requires a quick hand, it doesn't like being overworked or double coated.
  6. Where can I find this

Looks more like a snap track for holding posters.
  7. Advice Needed: How to Best Offer Services to Local Sign Shops

    1. Would you prefer to be contacted via email, phone, or face to face? If face to face, is a pop by acceptable or do you want to have a "meeting" scheduled? For me a brochure would be good, or a cold call for a time to drop off a brochure and sample would probably be OK. 2. If we spoke, what...

We use the metal Sooper Hinge, the plastic ones broke
  9. Printed vinyl application in cold temperatures.

Applying heat to glass in cold temperatures is risky. It can be done, but carefully. When I absolutely have to use juice I use RapidTac 2, it's definitely a good product. But dry is always our preferred method
  10. Malware attacking composer

Can you search for any new installed programs and get the names? Then do a search to see how to kill them.
  11. Help redesigning our logo

You don't "do" vinyl, at the very least you do Vinyl Graphics & Wraps.
  12. a simple question...about borders on signs going into frames...

So the black frame of the sign kit will stay black, and the orange stripe is inside that? In that case we would put a 1.5" inch orange stripe that goes .5" (aprx) behind the frame. And let them know that because the panel has to float in the frame the orange border may vary very slightly.
  13. Help redesigning our logo

my suggestions is to hire someone (Like Signamigo or Jillbeans) to do the design, it will be a good investment in your business.
  14. Help redesigning our logo

    You sell vinyl?
  15. Installing Perf In Cold

Razor blade works great on glass. Any residue use any of the adhesive removers then a final wipe with alcohol.
  16. 10x6 sign on corrugated metal. what material? mounting hardware?

Gino has a good point, nothing wrong with some fasteners on a face, after all the whole building is held together with hundreds of them. Sometimes it's nice to exaggerate the fasteners, especially in an industrial setting like a metal building with a body shop in it.
  17. 10x6 sign on corrugated metal. what material? mounting hardware?

Since they're a body shop and doing everything except the stencils why not let them build and install it? It could be anything from an aluminum pan sign, a flat panel ACM, an aluminum plate welded to an aluminum frame.... Installing is simple depending on the material chosen, clips screwed to...
  18. silk screening vs printing vs cut vinyl

The best cast vinyls will last longer than oil or latex paint. Tell him to wash a wax it a few times a year if he wants it to look better longer.
  19. Printing Backlit panels

These are the only two solutions I have found to give satisfactory results for faces requiring digital printing. I use cut translucent vinyl whenever possible.
