I would find the font without the effect and use it to create the cut line. Even if it's not perfect it's a lot less work tweaking a font than a bunch of jagged lines.

not sure what you're allowed to do, but it would be cool to create a nice store front that delineates the shop front, yet is harmonious with the whole building. Maybe a vintage look, ala Old Montreal, with half timber, stucco & brick.

Yep, it's like Marlene says, one dongle per software license. If it's lost or broken they will sell you a replacement. I have heard of black market cracked versions but not sure if that's true.

In 40 years of making signs I'm sure I have done this many times. Somebody comes by with their old truck and says I want my new truck lettered the same... or they have a business card and want the same design on their sign.... or they want their old faded sign remade with the same design...

Check to make sure media width is correct. Check to make sure the print at a % is at 100%

We do 40"x30' street banners. Made to the clients specs which included webbing & re enforced corners I have never had a waiver and when I have subbed out the printing/fabrication neither has any vendor required it. Wind slits are easy, a coffee can and a utility knife.

I'm not familiar with that frame but I am familiar with thinking I know how some sign is put together only to get there and discover that even though it looks exactly like every other one it's not.

Yep, dried paint is Ok here too. If it's not already solid in the can we pour it over the stuff in the dumpster to dry it.

You can switch to UV(pigment) inks fairly easily, you have to buy a full set of inks and a UV tube assembly, so the initial investment is large. I only ran UV inks in mine when I had them, but switched several tube assemblies and it was pretty simple. The UV inks are fade and moisture resistant...
