Pretty crummy quality stock, some can barely hold themselves to the fridge, and they are trimmed out by machine just like regular paper cards.
Stouse offers 2 thicknesses, get the thicker ones.
I also found the print quality to be abysmal.
Secondly it had to be baby sat to avoid head strikes, which are pretty nasty with that heavy material.
Thirdly it took too long to get setup to run properly.
Nearly every mag job ends up being easier to print&stick.
We have run a 60" Econocraft for about 10 years. No major issues, though it did have a bit of a learning curve and we had to fiddle with a few bits initially.
Interesting, thanks for the heads up. So far the majority has been single-sided use, or small DF, though there was a rush 3x20 DF for a 1 time event. We'll have to keep an eye out...
It should not affect how color appears. The translucent start bar and similar visual effects in windows get temporarily shut off.
That said, I run both Illy 10 and CS5, the same color fill will look more vibrant in 10 and more subdued in CS5.
For what it's worth, Fellers' 16oz KOMA material (double-sided & blockout) seems to be very resistant to edge curl even though it's not marketed that way. I use it for most everyday type banners mostly because of that.
You need to have the item in hand to be able to draw out the pattern, and then print or cut a test from your file, check for errors & adjust. Rinse & repeat.
Unless you find a reliable source to purchase the template files from, though that seems unlikely.
Technically business lines are exempt from the national "do not call" requirement. I put our numbers on there anyway and it does seem to slow them down a bit.
Just to add to the thread, came home to find 1 of our 13 yr old cats (had since 6 weeks) passed away quite suddenly and our 6 yr old daughter found him... :-\
You can order a chip of the color for $5 or view it "on screen" which would have a tendency to be rather inaccurate.
Based on what I could see, that color looks to be kind of similar to duranodic bronze.
Prints are indoor or shortterm outdoor (with laminate) and the specially coated media is crazy expensive.
We actually did our first wrap with one, but I wouldn't recommend it, esp not if you are trying to make money.
